My wife and I have date night on Thursday, so we decided to do the Miss Buffalo after noon (4:00p.m.) tour as a part of our evening. Let me tell you how much we enjoyed being out on the water seeing the beautiful Buffalo Sky Line, information given about where our fresh water comes from and seeing the sight was truly amazing. I also learned and saw the two (2) beautiful Statue Of Liberty on top of a Buffalo building. I would recommend that you take this tour as Joanne our tour guide was so informative and a pleasure on our boat tour.

Our narrator Marla was excellent. She was very warm, knowledgeable and personable and kept us continually engaged in our surroundings throughout our two hour river, lake and canal cruise. She also showed remarkable patience with the precocious children on board who frequently interrupted her! I appreciated the questions she welcomed from the passengers and I learned so much about my beloved lake and river as well as about western New York history in general.
The crew was helpful and friendly and I appreciated the ability to have a cocktail and snack on board.
Marla is quite simply a gem in our tour guide/docent
Community and you are lucky to have her on your team!
Thanks for such a delightful experience.

I took my Dad on the Boat for the Thunder on the Buffalo Waterfront Cruise for fathers day. It was an excellent time. My dad is a 90 year old Navy Veteran and loved the show. the crew was so nice and let us get on first because my dad has a walker and had a special seat for him up front so we could see the whole show. the weather was great and the ship captain kept the boat in a great position to see everything. the narrator was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of great facts about lake Erie and the Buffalo Waterfront.

My husband and I were celebrating our 15 year wedding anniversary and I thought it would be nice to end the night with what I thought would be a relaxing peaceful Sunset cruise. What I didn’t realize was that it probably should have been called party into the sunset and get drunk cruise! I guess going into it, I had different expectations. There was a dj playing music and the music was extremely loud, where I had to yell in order to be heard. The majority of the guests were messy drunk, lots of loud and obnoxious guests who don’t seem to respect people’s personal space (considering the pandemic going on). I can’t blame the hosts. But had i known this was how the night was going to be, i would have never went on the ride. It was probably around 15 min in when I realized i wanted to get off the boat. We tried to walk away and find a area that was someone quiet but it was impossible. We didn’t enjoy our ride at all because of it. Two hours felt like torture.

This was a great tour we stumbled on in the Canalside park. Found the ticket office past the navy ships exhibits towards the lake. Very reasonably priced. A nice selection of beer on board. Marla the tour guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable and narrated during the entire cruise. The boat was fairly full yet people were listening to Marla which meant what she was saying was interesting and worth listening too! Not always the case with something like this. We had a perfect day to cruise and the timing was just right. They let people on about 15 minutes before sailing so if you want a particular seat I suggest getting in line 20 minutes or so before departure.

As part of the Hamburg High School Class of 1970, our Class took a 2 hour boat ride on the Miss Buffalo. What a fantastic trip! We toured around the waterfront, saw how the city skyline has changed since some were last here in 1970, and the lake breeze felt so refreshing on a hot August day. If you are part of a large group looking for something special to do, go and charter out the Miss Buffalo. The crew aboard was fantastic and helped those of our class who had to use canes. BRAVO!!!

It was a leisurely but informative 2 hours on a blazing hot day with a great waterfront breeze. Me, my wife, our daughter and our 2 grandchildren (10 & 14) all thoroughly enjoyed this 2 hour cruise. It was a very clean and comfortable boat that showed us many interesting things about Buffalo and its waterfront. The cruise was very capably narrated by Marla and we learned a lot from her that we wouldn't have known otherwise. If anyone hasn't visited Buffalo in the last several years they need to do so as I know of no other city that has done such a great job of reinventing itself. There are so many nice things to do there it is incredible and they have more things in progress already. This cruise on the Miss Buffalo was a wonderful way to spend part of a great day for the whole family. There are many more things to do the rest of the day that are well within walking distance.

Excellent boat cruise. I believe it’s the best in Buffalo. The Captain introduced himself and was very pleasant. The narrator also went around and introduced herself and was very knowledgeable about the history of Buffalo. She was also very pleasant when she was asked questions. Outstanding!!!

When people think of Buffalo, they don’t (or at least I never did) think about the water. As someone who grew up in Western New York, I have been to Buffalo many times, but I have never seen the city like this. From the water you get a totally different, refreshing, view of the downtown area and waterfront. Tour was long enough to be worth it, and short enough to keep your attention. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend without hesitation and would come back with someone who’s never been for sure. A great time! But bring a jacket. Temperature was supposed to be 78 but the breeze off the water made it a bit chilly in short sleeves.

I do a cruise aboard the Miss Buffalo ever year for my friends and clients, 6 years in a row to be exact. Why you may ask, because the owners are remarkable people, the staff is outstanding and the cruise and scenery on the Lake speak for itself. I highly recommend a corporate function if you are looking for something different or just take one of their sightseeing tours. You won't be disappointed!!!!
