We stopped in during a self-guided walking tour of Buffalo ("Buffalo on Foot" pamphlet available for free from the inn where we stayed). There is a large public space you can walk around to enjoy the architecture.

If you love art deco architecture or architecture in general this is a must see! This ornately decorated building is understated from the outside, but a definite wow on the interior.

This is where we started our exploration of downtown Buffalo, and it is interesting to see. The vast glass-covered main hall is the main attraction.

Stunning building, awesome sunlight lobby. Just beware it is a privately owned up and running office building in downtown Buffalo, security is skepticle of people roaming around on the upper floors.

Apparently, at one time this was the largest office building in the US. (I think!?). Anway, some very beautiful spots inside this building in the lobby. Also, grab some great Beef on Weck at Charlie's in the lobby.

You won't see a more beautiful building with all the marble tiles and old elevators. It is a must see. If you love architecture and old buildings, this is a must see.

Pretty cool building, worth a stop. Lots of mosaic tiles, 20+ million I was told. While you're there, grab a beef on wek at Charlie the Butcher's in the lobby. Thursday is prime rib day. Like butter melting in your mouth. Nice ladies serving, too.

What a beautiful, old building . . . 100 years and counting ! If you are amazed at some of the old building designs from eras gone by, this one is a must-see. Lots of Stone, brass, steel & glass molded into an incredible structure. If your in the B-Lo make sure to check out this downtown gem.

This 100-year-old 10-story Italian Renaissance-style office building rocks! It was the largest office building in the world at the time of completion and features one of the most ornate interiors that I have seen in an office building. Including rare marble tiles, arranged to produce a rich and artistic color effect.
