I grew up in north buffalo. After college I moved to NYC but loved coming back to my old neighborhood. Thankfully my parents still live there. I love how hertel is growing with new restaurants and spot coffee. Always felt safe walking the streets and I still hang out with many of my childhood friends. A great place to grow... More

The refurbished North Park Movie Theater is right on the Hertel St. strip and fits right in. The marquee has been preserved and is a plus to the area.. The seats are very comfortable, and the decor is stunning. The murals and statuary have been lovingly brought back to life. Bathrooms have been updated. Personnel are friendly.

Recently I walked to the North Park Theater so I could take in all that's new on Hertel Avenue. I walked past many new restaurants, antique shops and furniture stores, Hertel Ave has certainly come into its own a developed into a destination for unique shopping over the past 5 years. When I arrived a the North Park I was... More

The is a resurrected vintage theater, privately own, which shows a wide range of art and independent films. It also has a weekend family film venue which is great for families younger audiences.

Many new restaurants and specialty shops opening continually. Great walking area as basically contained in a few blocks. Walking is preferred as downside is a great lack of parking most of which is on the surrounding streets.

great place to go and see a movie, a step back into the past and see a movie. I like going there . Nothing like going to a movie and having great hot buttered popcorn and relax in a soft seat and enjoy a wonderful movie.

Hertel Avenue is the main strip for fun year round. Restaurants abound, along with various shops, a movie house and of course, the bars. Lots of outdoor seating for a joyful day of "people watching". This area has seen a resurgence in the past few years and it's really starting to take-off again. The Italian Festival really packs 'em in... More

If your love old neighborhoods and the Irish backgrounds north Buffalo is the place to see. The history is great during St.Patricks Day.
