About a block from the arena next to the Labatt House. Very crowded after the afternoon game and live music (great band playing 70’s and Stones songs). The only food is chicken wings that you order and pick up at the wing counter by the door. No wait staff, you have to order all your drinks at the bar. Fun experience but don’t go there hoping to have a meal!

Dropped in for food and drink before the PJ concert a few weeks back. Apparently this place had just opened. Although it was crowded the service was great, patrons and staff were fantastic, atmosphere was great and the PJ cover band was excellent. A nice touch before and after the show. The location is perfect for accessing the arena as it is about 1 minute walk to the main entrance.
Food is simple, fair priced, and tasty... poutine, sandwiches, wraps, wings as I remember. This place has an outdoor area off to the side for additional socializing and I think smokers as well.
The floor flooded this particular night and no one cared, a tribute to all who enjoyed this great establishment and perfect evening with PJ. I recommend this place to all.

Was there for Paddles UP Buffalo last summer. Clean, easy access. Beer cold, food fresh. Comfortable seating and beautiful view.

Overpriced drinks. Rude staff. We met the owner as well who was a also a dick. Thought it would be a cool place to go after the game but we were wrong. We'll stick to the Cobblestone from now on.

I'm a lifelong resident of WNY and am sad to say that this place is an utter disappointment. They are located across the street from the First Niagara Center, the home of the Buffalo Sabres and the hosts of round two of NCAA basketball tournament games. Accompanied by a friend (another lifelong resident of the area) we attempted to visit this establishment prior to attending the aforementioned basketball games. To my dismay, and to the dismay of a group of out of town visitors, we were told that there was a $5 cover charge. This for the right to buy a draft beer for $6 which was described as a drink special. Needless to say neither we nor the visitors ahead of us would subject ourselves to this financial abuse. There is an old saying that you only get one chance to make a first impression and the first impression of this place is that they are willing to gouge visitors and locals alike. If you are visiting WNY go elsewhere and know that many restaurants are legitimately interested in you having an enjoyable experience and see you as a customer to be treated fairly and not a dollar sign with legs.

I have seen 3 or 4 shows here. Dueling Pianos and Church of Cash were my favorites. Enjoyed it every time.

Have been there on several different occasions for events and even just personal visit. Always treated with repsect and with great service. I would recommend this location to anyone. Foos is great too and comes out fast once order is placed. If something is screwed up on your order, which has only happened once, they were fast to correct it.

We visited the Iron Works for a special event and were pleasantly surprised. It has an industrial look with a great bar and nice brew selection. They had live entertainment when we were there. The service was friendly. The customers were from a variety of ages. We did not eat there so I cannot comment on any food quality.

I've eaten there twice. The first time was horrendous, error after error & the food was... not good. The second time was good.... I was surprised. I'll give it one more shot.

My friends and I have been coming to Iron Works off and on every week or so for 2 years now. They have a show pretty much every night of week; bands like Dopapod, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Everyone's Orchestra, Aqueous, Funktional Flow, Tauk, Turkuaz, Intrepid Travelers, Workingman's Dead and Tropidelic have all graced this stage at Iron Works. I have gotten to personally know some of the bartenders and bouncers there and they're really great people. There's free coak check, a new pizza place inside, Al Taglio, and parking around the corner. Walking distance from the metro, Key Bank Center, Lockhouse Distillery and Canalside. I would highly reccommend this place if you're looking for great music, good beer and an intimate, lively atmosphere, low-key compared to a nightclub. I would recommend 10/10
