Stunning piece of architecture, this city hall is one on the biggest in the US. A marvel piece of Art Deco with amazingly detailed decor. Free guided tours start at 12pm every day. The observation deck offers a beautiful 360 view of Buffalo.

Beautiful historic lobby area. Staff gets you through security check before you can look around. On weekdays they conduct 1 hour tours - ask at information desk. You can do self guided tour and go to 26th floor, after that you must walk 2 sets...More

The observation deck gives you a 360 view of Buffalo. And its free to go up! A must do if you're downtown.

It's easy to walk in and ride the elevator up to the top - be warned, the last few levels you have to switch to stairs and therefore this is not wheelchair accessible. But one you get to the top you're treated to panoramic views...More

Observation Deck is free and open to the public during City Hall hours. So nice they have this feature available to the public and haven't succumbed to shutting everything down. Great view and fun free thing to do in Buffalo!

Yes the downtown train station is walkable. The Depew station is abut 10 miles from downtown. The water in Lake Erie is in the mid 70's right now. Colder of course in the early summer and fall. There is one sand beach close... More
