I was in Buffa with my husband for his car club and we went on a tour of this museum. I am not a big car fan but I like museums. It is a privately owned museum and the collection belongs to the owner. I had never heard of Pierce-Arrow automobiles before but found out how beautiful a car they were and what a pioneer Mr. Pierce was! All kinds of things that he had made were on display but I especially found the bicycles interesting! The whole car collection boasts only the most unique cars of all kinds. All with interesting stories
This museum also had a unique collection of clothing that women needed to wear when they first started driving and riding in the early cars. Conditions were so dusty they needed protection from the dirt and grime. They were utilitarian but still very fashionalble!
Last but not least, the owner tracked down plans that Frank Lloyd Wright drew up for a gas station and built it in the museum . It has won awards itself!
There is so much more to see here that I would call it a museum of American culture. It's so much more than just about cars.
Touring with a group was fun but would also be fun with a family or couple.

I was in town visiting family for the weekend and we decided to check out the Pierce Arrow Museum. There is not one bad things to say about this place. What a nice collection of Pierce Arrow antiques and with other automobile, bicycle and motorcycles. You can spend a lot of time reading everything in there and get a nice understanding the the history of The Pierce Arrow company. I would definitely recommend visiting this museum.

This is a nice little museum with an interesting piece of Frank Lloyd Wright history - the gas station inside was based on his drawings! There is plenty of parking and the museum is easy to get to. For its size, there are a lot of things to see and it is not just cars that are featured. It also includes a section on women's contributions to the auto industry, which was nice to see. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and helpful.

We've been to this museum twice now. They do change up some of the exhibits. There are lots of displays that are historical in nature, with artifacts and clothing from the early 1900's. There are lots of bicycles and motorcycles to check out as well as the automobiles. I really enjoyed looking at the display of hood ornaments. The volunteers are very eager to talk about the vehicles.

I’m not a big auto enthusiast but this was a wonderful walk through Buffalo’s part in transportation history. Along with several Pierce Arrow vehicles and other models, there were many interesting displays. The docents were friendly and knowledgeable.
Unfortunately, the Filling Station designed by Frank Lloyd Wright was cordoned off. It was still worth the price to be able to view it.

Our whole family, all 18 of us, took my father here for his 85th birthday. Everyone enjoyed it, young and old, male and female. It was soo interesting to learn about and see the gas station built inside. My dad and all of us really enjoyed it. We plan to go back again in the future!

An absolute must visit museum. A huge venue with magnificent Pierce bicycles and vintage automobiles. Stunning! Tim, in house docent, was a fountain of information. Talk to him about the Filling Station, unbelievable story.
