Get in line before they open the doors so you can get a table or a stool with a back at a high-top or rail! If you come later, you might be standing the whole time. But the music is always worth it. This visit...More

I went to Sportsman's on a Saturday afternoon to hear a band called Flashback (I think that was the name). The place was packed and was rocking. Band played long sets of great rock and roll music. We sat out on the upper deck and...More

Had so much fun listening to the band The Willies on a Thursday night visiting Buffalo. The music was excellent, great venue. Great beer! Decent food-I had a good turkey club but it's just bar food, not a full restaurant. Can't explain how good the...More

Was in Buffalo and was taken here to see an Allman Brothers tribute band. Staff friendly and beer good, not a large selection of IPAs or craft beers but still decent. Acoustics were excellent with plenty of places to watch music from, very working class...More

Saw Commander Cody there last Sunday. Got there early enough to get a table with view of the band. Good burgers and bar on each floor. Reasonable priced with great local talent.

Thursday lunch is a no-cover deal, with a fishbowl by the stage for tips. The music is excellent, bluegrass on the first Thursday and country music the rest of the time. There's good food, interesting people, and sometimes folks get inspired to get up and...More

I have been a patron of Sportsmen's Tavern for over 10 years. The quality of musicians that grace its stage is amazing for being a small venue. I have seen Jazz, blues, bluegrass, country... all at reasonable prices. Cheapest G&T in town ($5 for top...More

Parking is not a problem. I usually park in the Plaza across the street. I also think that downtown is the best place to stay. I would also advise you to get there early and try to sit in the first row of the balcony.
