Set in an outdoor natural amphitheater, the Medora Musical is a dance performance and musical production with a live band. After intermission they have a guest performance, ours was a BMX bicycle team perform stunts before continuing with the entertaining program that included pop country and patriotic songs, country and clog dancing, with some comedy thrown in for giggles.

Beautiful small western town in the heart of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Surprisingly nice restaurants and a charming hotel grace the center of the town. Great place to get away for a few days to clear the mind and recharge the soul.

This was a fun evening. Be prepared for lots of people and if you sit near the front like we did, it is going to take a while to get out of not only the parking lot but also the amphitheater. The singers for the most part were very good, the staging beautiful, the story engaging, and the cast was... More

This was a great little get away to North Dakota. Medora is a cute little town, and the Medora Musical is a great way to end the day. You can tell that the cast love their jobs and have a lot of fun singing and entertaining the crowd. I do think that it was a little pricey.

Terrific musical show. They serve a great dinner beforehand with plenty of good food while gazing at beautiful scenery.

The talent comes from all over and it would be very hard to make it through a performance without clapping and stamping. The voices are beautiful and the music wonderful. They do a tribute to America that brings tears to the eyes. It's outdoors, seats are stadium style so everyone can see the action. Singing, dancing (even tap), horses, musicians,... More

Medora is a charming western town full of friendly people. Incredible scenery in the South Unit of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The Musical is fantastic, take in the Pitchfork Fondue before the show starts. Lots of fun for all ages. Theodore's Restaurant is world class.

We spent 4 days in Medora so naturally we had to see what all the fuss was about. We went to the last show of the 2016 season and the weather was gorgeous. It did get a little chilly towards the end. The musical was different. It wasn't quite what we were expecting. We were thinking there would be an... More

The Medora musical is on a huge stage with a view of the North Dakota Badlands (we saw a couple of elk grazing across the valley on our way in). The musical is country orientated and is more than a little corny but it is full of singing and dancing. It is a fun show and my wife and I... More

The musical is a fun thing to do while staying in Medora. The amphitheater sits in a beautiful setting and the musicians put on an entertaining show. The highlight was the BMX bikers doing aerial stunts off ramps, which was an added attraction to the regular show, and that was very entertaining!
