Head to the far east end of the lake, The Narrows and put in at the picnic area. Great for paddle boarding and a nice shady picnic area near the water. This place is great for handicapped. Not a great place to swim, as the...More

After a long day of hiking or mountain biking, I recommend jumping in! The lake is a little murky, from silt, but super clean and refreshing!

Lake down to a thimble of water. Too bad because you can imagine what it would be like when it was full.

Avoid Lower Lake Mary because there is no "lake." It's bone dry. And the Upper Lake Mary is fine if you are going boating but it is not suitable for swimming or fishing.

Driving around to see wildlife, did see deer and antalope. Love seeing God's handy word. There was no water in sight in upper Lake Mary. But a nice drive .

I'm not sure this even quarifies as a rake. It is so sharrow, I courd hardry skinny dip in it. Too many peering eyes to be naked.

if you are just visiting as a day trip I believe it is free. There are camping sites which require a fee.
