NO water

Lake down to a thimble of water. Too bad because you can imagine what it would be like when it was full.

After a long day of hiking or mountain biking, I recommend jumping in! The lake is a little murky, from silt, but super clean and refreshing!

Avoid Lower Lake Mary because there is no "lake." It's bone dry. And the Upper Lake Mary is fine if you are going boating but it is not suitable for swimming or fishing.

Updated review for this year. This lake has beautiful surroundings but the lake itself is terrible. The water level is very low and the water is so dirty you can see it in the wakes of boats from the road above. I would not bring a boat to this lake....esp all the way from Phoenix. Plus parking is expensive, so... More

Driving around to see wildlife, did see deer and antalope. Love seeing God's handy word. There was no water in sight in upper Lake Mary. But a nice drive .

Please change this location. It's coming up on the map as Lake Mary Florida. Not Flagstaff Arizona. Please change the location. Please change the location

The lake was low so God needs to fill it a bit. Other than that the lake treated us nicely and it was a great value.

Make sure you go to Upper Lake Mary! There is no water at lower! It's easy to find and there weren't a lot of people which was nice. We brought a picnic lunch and sat in the parking lot in our beach chairs! Sounds weird but it was nice! No one was around and there were clean bathrooms nearby (plus,... More

I'm not sure this even quarifies as a rake. It is so sharrow, I courd hardry skinny dip in it. Too many peering eyes to be naked.

Lake Mary is somewhat of a misleading name. it is more of an expanding and contracting pond based on snowfall. If there has been enough rain one might do some shallow boating and fishing but do not eat the fish. Best to catch and release. Mud and rocks, so careful. If you are planning on boating call Lake Mary Lodge... More
