The gentleman who helped us provided great information and was very responsive to our needs. The building is lovely and also houses the train station. Caution!!! If you have children keep them at your side. The train tracks are acceptable and marked by a caution line. Trains pass or should I say zoom by continuously day and night. A great... More

Great place to start to get maps and brochures of the area. Located at the Amtrak station the ladies are very friendly and informative and have good suggestions for things to do in the area. You can sit out front and watch the cargo trains go by and there's also some very reasonably priced Rt66/Flagstaff souvenirs there too.

Located within the Flagstaff Amtrak Station, the Visitor Center has a multitude of brochures, maps, handouts and, of course, well informed and friendly staff available to answer your questions, make suggestions and help you make the most of your visit to northern Arizona.

This railway station is full of places to see and visit in the area. The staff was outstanding giving directions, suggestions and pleasant conversation about the center, the area and the town. There were discount coupons for nearly attraction.

This is a good starting point for information on the Grand Canyon and for answers to any questions you might have. The staff was very professional and knowledgeable. There are a few souvenirs for the grand canyon and route 66. It is located in an old (but still active) train station

We took the scenic drive from Sedona to Flagstaff and since this was our first visit to Flagstaff, we stopped at the visitor center. The center is in an old train station waiting room. Amtrak still operates in one section but they have maintained the historic look of the station. There are many brochures and people to help. You need... More

It was a complete nightmare trying to find a parking space on a Saturday evening. The busy pedestrian traffic in the area left the impression that many people had used the parking lot before leaving their car to go for a stroll. We had to use an AMTRAK employee parking spot. Once inside we discovered that none of the visitor... More

My wife and I stopped in here the first day we visited Flagstaff. We got a great map and a few other pamplets. This is a great location right downtown at the railroad depot. They have a lot of stuff to look at and souvenir stuff to buy. Very nice for a visitor center.

I visited the visitor center on our two day trip to Flagstaff. The lady was very helpful. She provided me a map and outlined places to visit. She informed me of a couple of museums and of Buffalo Park, which I would otherwise not have known about. My teenaged son and I proceeded to visit some of these places. The... More
