An experience of a lifetime! What an incredible world we live in! Saw various sites that were perfect picture taking spots. Def plan on returning & doing a longer hike. Perfect day. Perfect weather. Perfect views. Cannot say enough about this canyon.

Wow! What a great trail with amazing vistas. The path is mostly easy and the free bus drops you off at different locations where you can continue your hike or catch the next bus.

Hikes along the rim, east and west from the Village are well paved out, and easy walking. Buses go both directions, so walking one way to the end of the trail and returning by bus (free) makes a good visit. Great views over the Canyon from many places along the rim.

If your dream is to know The Grand Canyon, Flagstaff is the best city to start your tour. From this beautiful city you can organiza a lot of tours and even pay a visit to NAU; probably you can get a course. Just make sure you take the right clothes, shoes, and respect to everybody, although people are very friendly. You have to be aware to be open to all kinds of people: native americans, irish americans, europeans, mexicans, and so on. Also be aware to be in shape if your desire is to hike to the bottom of the canyon.
