We have done food tours in many different areas and this one was somewhat disappointing. First I must say, the tour guide was great and gave wonderful information about the history of the city. On the food stops--three were 'sweet' stops. The first stop was breakfast pastry items and the last two were dessert items. So three food tastings were sweets. Of the other three, one was tacos--which were okay, but not outstanding. And one stop was a sandwich shop... I would like to have seen food items that were unique to this area. For example in Amsterdam we experienced dutch pancakes, specialty cheeses and meats, unique beer and dutch apple pie. Again, the stops on the tour were okay--but none seemed authentic to the area. I do understand this is a relatively new tour, so I hope they make adjustments over time to have more 'food' that represents items that are more unique to Flagstaff.

We visit Flagstaff once or twice a year and found out so much about downtown that we didn't know. And had some great food along the way. The tour guides are long time residents with a keen interest in the history and the future of Flagstaff and have great personalities; they quickly feel like friends. The downtown area is changing quickly, especially the area south of the tracks and the guides have the updates. The food destinations, which can vary, were solid locations including a coffee shop highlighting pastries, roof top restaurant, Mexican, deli, and two sweets locations. Food is included in the tour pricing but beverages are optional. A couple of the spots do offer adult beverages. This is a great way to spend an afternoon if you are visiting or a local looking to revisit the downtown area.

What a great way to try out various food establishments while learning the history of Flagstaff. We also received suggestions of restaurants to visit on this and future visits to Flagstaff. We especially enjoyed the salmon on the rooftop and the apple Brie offering at the deli. Had a great time!

This was such a fun activity! I have gone on a number of food tours and this was by far the longest, but I enjoyed having time to sit and relax at each stop and the longer strolls around town. The food was delicious, and the stories were both entertaining and informative. It is true that drinks are not included, but that was not an issue for me. In fact, given people's preferences regarding beverages, I think it's better this way. You have more than enough time to purchase a fun drink if you feel so inclined (which I did at several of the stops). Jeremy was a great guide. He is obviously very tied into the community, which makes this tour feel more personal than some others I've been on. If you're looking for a nice way to spend the afternoon, I would definitely recommend checking out this food tour (especially if you're unfamiliar with Flagstaff, like I was). I thoroughly enjoyed it!
