Great place to drive up to the snow bowl in the summer, grab a drink, sit ouside and watch the people go up on the lift and take in the nice fresh air and cool temperature. It is very cool at this elevation so dress accordingly. Nice trails and you can walk to your hearts content. Do a picknick and... More

Our entire family enjoyed riding the chairlift to the top of the mountain. The views were spectacular! Unfortunately there was lightening in the area and so they hustled us back down to the base again. However, at the base station we enjoyed hot chocolate and life sized Jenga. Good time!

This is my second visit. What a great escape from Phoenix in August. We reached the summit in about 25 minutes and were met by Randy who gave us the heads up about the elevation and dangers. We appreciate that being middle aged. He said kids run around and wind up with blue lips, and hyper ventilating. Yes, its that... More

Decided to check this out after a previous trip to Snowbowl. Book your tickets online for good discount ($15 instead of $20). .You take a nice slow trip up the highest ski lift to 11,500 feet. If you want the view but don't have the time or energy to hike to the top of Mt Humphries this is the way... More

The trip up and down was exciting and so picturesque. We got delayed because of lightning, but hey...good reason, right!!! So we ate lunch at the café. Very good food. Good food, beautiful scenery, and a relief from the Phoenix heat. Oh, and hey...Pokémon Go fans, there are sightings here. We enjoyed the peaceful ride up, spotted jays and some... More

temperature at top is much colder so dress warm. Ride to top was about 30 min and return the same length. Very quiet and very scenic. The weather prevented us from spending time at the top, but still worth going up.

Wonderful way to see the surrounding area and scenery. If you can go in the fall when the Aspens are changing that is the best.

So we had no idea that Flagstaff area was soooo much colder than Phoenix area. We went up there cause we heard the lift was a cool and a great view. First thing, being that it is August and Arizona we were dressed in shorts and short sleeves. We already had driven up the mountain and knew we were doing... More

Great place for all seasons. Not so big that you get lost but big enough to have some great ski runs. Summer you can ride the lift and view the mountain side. Autumn offers fall leaves from the aspens. During winter you will need to call and find out the snow fall level.
