Spent the morning in Sedona and instead of going back to Scottsdale thought i would head to flagstaff. Sorta glad I did. Went to tourism booth and asked for them to send me somewhere fun. After the seven or so mile twisty road arrived at parking lot. Got out and nice views from there, but went around the corner to... More

At 11,500 feet above sea level this was quite an experience for us "flat landers" from Miami, Fl. The view of four or five states was awesome. The top is cold and windy and the air is thin but what a neat view. Riding up on the ski lift takes 20 minutes or so and is a great sight seeing... More

So I had never been on a ski lift before and also wasn't familiar with possible weather situations at higher elevations. I highly recommend Arizona Snowbowl to anyone visiting, however make sure you check their hours before planning your trip. I'd also suggest bringing a poncho and a wind breaker/light jacket. It's a lot chillier up top and storms can... More

Great but chilly visit to top of the Peak. Great views - we could even see the Grand Canyon in the distance. Great for whole family!

A pleasant 30 minute chairlift ride to thetop. At 11500 feet up, can you image the views. For those from sunny cimates, I suggest you get well wrapped up. Altough there was no snow when we visited, it must be outstanding for the skiing.

I drove up from Phoenix on a Wednesday right after Labor Day. It was an awesome day weather wise and no lines at all. I grabbed a beer at the bar and rode up to the top. So peaceful and everyone exchanges hellos on the way up and down. A short hike at the top and the views are fantastic.... More

I have been many times for skiing, but recently we took my elderly mother-in-law for a trip to Flagstaff to get out of the desert heat. While there we took a side trip up the mountain to see the views and enjoy the even cooler weather at the Snow Bowl. The site has been under expansion of new ski runs... More

After my plans to drive to Sedona with some friends for Labour Day fell through, we decided to visit the snowbowl for the first time and after spending A LOT of money on Ubers we arrived and were immediately mesmerised by the views. I had read views online about the wait times to board the scenic chairlift but maybe because... More

What a great way to spend a few hours on an afternoon. The views were absolutely amazing and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and informative about the surrounding areas. This is not just a trip for adults kids would love it too though not recommending it for something they can do on a solo. The lift ticket for... More

First time went with friend that had some equipment to loan, that saved some cash. This is cool but like most extra curricular sports it's expensive $100 just to get in with out renting equipment.
