Located on the majestic San Francisco Peaks, the Arizona Snowbowl lies 14 miles outside of Flagstaff. IN SUMMER, the Scenic Chairlift shuttle riders to the top of Arizona (11,500 feet/ 3,500 m). Customers are invited to play disc golf, go on a hike and treat themselves to lunch with a view at Agassiz Lodge Restaurant. First time I was there, the kids enjoyed, they are not around snow since we live in Scottsdale, daughter in law and granddaughter haven't seen snow, the only thing I didn't like the two areas we were in didn't allow sledding they need to have, an area to do so other wise if your a skier or snowboarder it's a... We loved Snowbowl!!! We recently moved to Tucson & it is shocking to us that this little mountain oasis is in the same desert state! It's so beautiful up there and the new high speed chair was really great--we got a lot of skiing in only a half day! Our little guy (age 5) LOVED the ski school and cried... More

Was in Flagstaff on business and it was opening weekend for Snowbowl. There was only one ski run open, but, with the new lift, I could ski lap after lap. The operators were very personable. I liked it so much that I went back the next day after it snowed a bit more. Nice little ski area with a great... More

We had a great time heading up the chair lift. At the top we could see far..and the various past volcanos. We spent some time hiking and used the highest toilet in Arizona! We are a family of 4 traveling the USA for a year. You can follow us at lifesanadventure.me

I live in Colorado--our aspens are hard to beat--but Snowbowl came close. The drive up to the ski lift was amazing--the trees are healthy and tall. Then there was the ride up the lift--and down. Slow but spectacular! Loved the color. Loved the view.

Visited snowbowl for the first time last month. Beautiful views including breath-taking fall colors, and great hiking trails. We didn't take the chair lift to the top this time, but plan to come back and do it in the future. Great photo ops!

The Kachina Trail, starting @9300' altitude just below the entrance to Snowbowl Ski Resort, is a marvelous hike whether you are up for a 15 minute or 3-hr excursion. Closed all winter, it is densely populated with periodic Aspen groves, the rare spongy-barked Cork Fir, tall old White Pines & Douglas Fir. 15 minutes in you'll come upon an official... More

Really enjoyed the ride!! It was a beautiful day to enjoy the views. There was a Ranger there who answered all of our questions. You can see the Grand Canyon from the top. We went a little late for the fall foliage but were still able to see some color. The yellow aspen leaves made a pretty show.

Went up the ski lift with my family. The ride was beautiful and a nice way for my wife and I to get in some cuddle time. The price was reasonable. My only tiff was that everything at the top was roped off, so there were no trails to explore, or things to see other than the view you get... More
