We really enjoyed this. It was peaceful, smooth, affordable, and gives you access to truly stunning views. I believe the top elevation is 11,500 ft and we were both a little lightheaded once we started on the walking trail the top. However, it soon went...More

What a fun activity to do out of the heat. Beautiful scenery and cooler temperatures. Bout a couple of hours and eat a little restaurant to eat too. Nice to see when you don't ski and you don't get to see the views.

The chair lift ride is long but it is in and among the trees, spruces, Douglas firs, Ponderosa pines, and blue spruces. You can look right down on some of them. When you get to the top, which is at 11,500 feet, you can see...More

We saw a sign on US-180 about a restaurant in this area, so, we took the turn-off, and drove up to the Lodge (8/13). While having lunch, we watched people getting on and off the chairlift. They all seemed to really be enjoying themselves. After...More

You'll love the outdoors and beauty of the wonderful Snowbowl. Fun for everyone 12 months of the year. However, the skiing is the best part of it all.

Beautiful area! And so close to Flagstaff. I really envy people who live in town. It's a great area for hiking. Trails vary from short, easy strolls to the fairly epic trek up to Humphrey's Peak (plan ahead, leave early, know the forecast, wear layers,...More
