Over the years I've taken all my kids here. Typically this is something we do on a rainy day, but any day with some free time can be spent in the walls of the Discovery Center. My youngest wears herself out in the under 5 area playing dress up and make believe, she could spend hours there. The favorite though... More

This is a great place for young and school-age children. There are many learning activities there for them in which to participate.

My grandsons are 7 and 9 and they truly enjoyed our visit. The "flood plains" water feature was a hit, as was the two story slide and the turtle exhibit. There is something to do for toddlers on up to tweens.

This place is so cool. I urge you to invest in the membership program. You get to visit so many museums and zoos for free or half off admission. The adventure science center in Nashville is included. My daughter had a blast at this museum. She loved the tot town. They have a really neat area outside.

When my kids were younger, we used to come here a lot. It's worth purchasing membership, as it gave us an option for something to do when the weather was miserable. I like that the displays upstairs change every few weeks, not to mention some of the grown-up events they host. Wine at the Wetlands is a favorite of mine!

I believe they have different exhibits from time to time and when I was last there they had an automobile exhibit which was very neat and informative. I love seeing the critters and you can enjoy nature on the trail.

We actually went there to be part of an arts weekend that the Discovery Center sponsors. It was a great place with lots of activities for the kids and lots of happy families enjoying the exhibits. It would be a great place to take the family for a long afternoon.

We have visited the Discovery Center before and were so impressed. Many of the stations have not been kept up and although a new display is supposed to be opening soon, no visible work was being done and 1/2 the upstairs was not functional. Many things were broken or not able to be accessed.
