I’ve been working with Rhonda and Bruce for months either by phone or email. I had set up a 2.5 hour tour and filled all but 3 spots in the 4 vans they had. It was the one excursion I was most looking forward to. Rhonda worked individually with each of my group to book the tour and then had to work individually with each to refund when we all decided to cancel with the threat of Covid-19. She and Bruce were always prompt, friendly and efficient. I felt like we were family. And since family always visits each other, they can be assured that we will be back to take this tour, hopefully next year.

My wife, daughter, and I arrived at the tour center in downtown Sitka to look for a private tour (we had not yet booked one). Most of the tours seemed booked up so I started chatting with one of the operators. Bruce (the owner of Sitka Wildlife Tours) and his wife Rhonda, were very informative for the way to get to the Raptor Center and other walkable options. We ended up having a great time with the help of Bruce and Rhonda. Thanks!

This is our 2nd time choosing this tour when cruising to Alaska. I go for the bears and could spend all day watching them. This is a family owned business who really care that their guests have a good time. Bruce and his wife are there to meet you when you get off the free bus that takes you from your ship to downtown Sitka. The guides are very knowledgeable and take you to places around Sitka besides the 3 main attractions. We love going to Sitka for this experience and highly recommend.

Great way to see Sitka. Our guide was a fourth generation Sitka native, and had so much to offer around culture and history of the area. Saw salmon in the creek near the park, in addition the bears and raptors in the rescue centers.

We did this tour while on a cruise, so we had limited time in Stika. It was a great mix of things and our local tour guide gave lots of local information. The kids on our tour even got to become junior rangers at the park. Highly recommend -- everything was on time and they even gave us a ride back to the pier since we had a short amount of time. Highly recommend this tour and company!

The customer service department saved us time and money. Rhonda contacted our family when she realized out tour was a part of a cruise that was cancelled. We were on an earlier cruise and did not receive the notice of cancellation. Rhonda was the only contact that actually sent me a text message that I was able to read on while we were at port.

locations were amazing truly was, rushed though out tour and the driver was not even talking to us as group. until he wanted tip........would of loved more local information, but you want to see a lot in a small amount of time its ok for that.

Wasn't sure what to expect. But had an extremely knowledgeable captain who made sure we saw as much as possible. Best whale watching we have ever seen. It was up close with only six passengers. We highly recommend this tour.

We traveled from SW Florida to Alaska to experience and see nature. It didn't fail us - we ate wild berries at the rain forest and saw whales, eagles and sea lions. the tour guides were very knowledgeable and native to Alaska.

This was a very good tour, saw lots of wildlife. Boat was a little crowded making it hard to get photos.

Is this tour booked outside the visitor center in Sitka? Is Captain Rich one of the guides?

We do book out of the Harrigan Centennial Hall BUT Captain Rich is NOT our captain Sonny Cropley is. Why do you ask?

What an *awesome* review !! I was born and raised here in Sitka- and Maria is a very dear friend - along with the owners Ronda and Bruce Conine. -- The life long local perspective is one of thee best ways to immerse oneself with travel and adventure-- and by reading your review- it sounds like Maria was able to help you enjoy your trip to Sitka and go beyond that of a crowded bus - and on to the beaten path!
