My adult daughter (never been to Alaska) and I wanted a quick tour of Sitka due to having to catching a flight. We made the right choice with Sitka Wildlife Tours! This tour was excellent as was the guide and our interactions with owners. The van was clean and comfortable. It was a great tour giving the history of Sitka, visiting the main attractions, and a highly informative walk in the forest to see the salmon run. Both my daughter and I would highly recommend Sitka Wildlife tours and if you are on a tight schedule, the Sitka Scenic Tour.

This small group Sitka Scenic Tour was simply outstanding. The group is limited to ten (there were eight of us plus the guide) in a comfortable adn virtually new vehicle. Our guide was friendly, knowledgable, and responsive, and the tour met and exceeded our expectations. It is not a lengthy tour (two hours), but it included what we wanted with the opportunity to stay at or return to the National Historical Park at the end of the tour if desired. Clearly Sitka Wildlife Tours has their act together.

Excellent Tlingit captain and very knowledgeable about the area. Wasted no time in getting to the eagles, whales, seals and otters. The manager also suggested a great lunch place. Very memorable day in beautiful Sitka!!

This was an amazing tour and our group enjoyed our time. We especially loved the raptors and viewing the river where the salmon were spawning. In addition, we had an exceptional tour guide, Yvonne. She really knows her stuff and makes you feel so welcomed.

Husband & I took this tour. We were on cruise ship but tour I wanted was sold out through cruise ship. We booked this with Viator. I think pricing was the same. This was a 11 passenger van.Our tour guide made fun of the big buses that were also touring the exact same things but I think (after being toured both ways on this trip) that the big buses are more comfy & you can see better too. You don’t avoid the crowds if you are at the same places as the big buses are. I loved the bear sanctuary. I could have stayed there all day. The raptors are interesting too. I liked the totems too. Overall a good tour. The guide spent two much time telling us about his fishing experiences. I also don’t think that he should tell us that the reason the tourism in AK has had a slump was 8 years of Obama. We know he has heard of Covid because he told us he had it in the spring. So probably too much personal information & not enough tour information. The company was very efficient at the pick up spot & well organized.

Thank you so much for your review. I'm really sorry the statement I made in the last two minutes of your tour, struck a sour cord with you. That definitely was not my intention! Though that information was not part of my normal tour I was trying to fill in the extra half our I gave you with more facts about Sitka. I will definitely be more selective on the facts I share in the future. I pray the rest of your cruise went great and we hope to see you again soon in Alaska. Bruce Conine
