Driving through and reading the literature provided by the park doesn't even begin to compare to what a guided tour with Larry gets you! He is absolutely an expert concerning Shiloh!  Larry’s enthusiasm and passion for the area are evident. He makes it fun and...More

We'd got Larry's name from the Shiloh Visitor Center and arranged a tour of the battlefield with him for our party of 4. As you can see from Larry's photo, he turns up for tours dressed as either Union or Confederate (a coin decides). He...More

We happened by this small shop on our way back to Selmer after visiting Shiloh and Corinth. I was amazed at Larry DeBerry's dug relic collection — one of the best I've seen, and far better than those of the battlefield museums. Had I known...More

Wonderful movie telling of the battles and the course of the events that followed. Also the exhibits are outstanding.

This is a small gift shop with books, and various memorabilia around. My youngest took home a key of G bamboo flute to remember Shiloh. Every shrill note reminds me of our fun visit.... and wishing I'd bought him the pockerlt watch instead. Lol.

There was a great exhibit on females in the war. Ladies were involved in far more ways than you might have heard or expected, for the times. There is a map available with a driving tour and points, but an audio tour that you might...More

Great location and exhibits, but no audio tour (phone). That alone keeps it from being a 5. Lots of stuff went on with a lot of lines changing. The attempt to show red, blue and different shapes to show day one, two, North and South...More

This is a great information center. Information panels throughout are helpful. But the movie is the best preparation prior to touring the battlefield. Every battlefield should have such a good movie. Staff very helpful. Gift shop, plenty of parking, bathrooms. And don't miss the cemetery...More
