My friend and I go the Shenandoah Moon for gift shopping, jewelry and to take classes on beading, jewelry making and more. Susan is an amazing artist, always friendly and educational. We enjoy her teaching style and her knowledge is unsurpassed. She carries quality supplies and doesn't hesitate to help teach us about the things we purchase. We look forward to our next class!

My husband and I travelled to Luray with 7 other couples for a Saturday wedding. While the men golfed on Friday, we ladies passed the time in Luray. Although the entry to this shop is somewhat hidden, we stumbled upon it and spent a very pleasant hour browsing, talking with the owner, and buying. Susan was helpful with clothing advice but not intrusive. She had quite a selection of shrugs and shawls and I think at least 4 of us purchased something to wear. Several of the girls made jewelry purchases. All in all, we had a lovely time; if you are in Luray and have time to shop you must stop in!

A friend and I wandered in here on the advice of our innkeeper at the Hotel Laurence. The store featured jewelry from local artists as well as from the Middle East, Nepal and Peru. We found a pair of pierced earrings perfect for a friend, who does not have pierced ears. Within a few minutes, the earrings were made into clip ons and our buddy back home was thrilled with them. There are other accessories here and It is a fun shop to browse and chat with the ladies.

We stop here each time we are in Luray and are never disappointed. There is something fun to look at in every nook and cranny. The owner Susan can tell you where each item came from. She had just returned from Thailand where she had purchased several fine silver pieces. Being artists ourselves we appreciate that she has so many unique pieces of jewelry. Great place to find unique gifts and fun pieces of clothing and accessories. Wish I lived closer so I could take some of her classes.

Saw the pics online and was excited to go! When I got there, I was a bit disappointed. It's a small shop in the front of the store and the back is a bead store. I was hoping it was going to be a store with lots of unique gifts but it was more like a front room and the rest of the store was for bead connoisseur.
