We had such a great time hiking this trail. It was very rocky and jagged and felt like a real challenge to get to the top.. but man were those views worth it. On a sunny day you are able to see all of the...More

I did this hike on the first hot weekend we've had in awhile and the trees were still leafless. It was hot. But that aside it was totally a decent 8+ mile round trip hike. The loop trail does come out on the road and...More

We hiked up to the Kennedy Peak look out tower on a misty, rainy day in February. Even in the rain, we enjoyed beautiful views of blue mountains on all sides. We had to be wary of a long stretch of ice not far before...More

We looked for a good hike in the area and Kennedy Peak hit the spot. Easily accessible trail head with a double-wide path leading to the base of The peak. The trail transitions into a single wide path that switchbacks up to the top. No...More

Our family loved this hike. As soon has my 17 year old made it to the top he was already talking about doing it again. The view is quite amazing. The photos don't really do it justice. Thanks to the previous review about where to...More

The hike to Kennedy Peak isn't too difficult, although steep in places and quite rocky. In early spring, mountain laurel and wildflowers are abundant along the trail, adding to its beauty. The trail ends at an old fire tower which is a great place for...More

We arrived about 10am and hiked to the summit. Nice easy paths about 2/3 of the way, then gets significantly steeper. Older kids did it no problem, not sure I would take under 5 year olds though. Make sure to stay on orange blazed path....More
