The artwork is beautiful. However, Lisa, the owner is amazing. Could've talked with her all day. Wonderful person.

Lovely place to visit

The lady at the desk was wonderful - friendly and welcoming and interesting and knowledgeable. Much of the art work was not to our taste but they have some great stuff - the silk lamps were fabulous and the kaleidoscopes fascinating.

Not a terrifically pleasant proprietor
Nov 2019
The Gallery owner seems to embrace the stereotypical British way of dealing with people. I found her snooty which is not typical of the gallery owners in Santa Fe who I found overwhelmingly to be warm and welcoming. The work displayed is largely fantasy themed.

Well hello there anonymous! awwwww, you must not be a fan of Downton Abbey I'm thinking. My, the the Dowager Countess would have had a field day with you! I take it you were visiting from out of state. Always wise to respect a lady who's wearing a wedding band. Cheers, Lisa.

Simply the HIGHLIGHT of our Santa Fe - Canyon Road ART walk...
Jun 2019 • Couples
My wife and I are ART lovers.. and so, while staying in Santa Fe, could not pass up having a walk through the historic Canyon Road galleries. We went into several.. but hands down.. the absolute HIGHLIGHT of the walk.. was when we entered into the magical and metaphorical world of The Longworth Gallery. Located at 530 and 532 Canyon Road.. this is an art experience you do not want to miss. And here's the icing on the cake... the ART was obviously spectacular and one of a kind.. but the Owner, Lisa Rodgers gave us a tour de force while explaining all the details surrounding the individual art pieces we were viewing. It became a virtual MULTIMEDIA experience as she showed examples of how the artist developed the particular piece.. and in one room.. showed us how the artist had mixed luminescent capabilities in her art. My wife and I were transfixed. Lisa made the event one to remember. And we will return time and time again whenever we are back in Santa Fe. I heartily recommend if you do the CANYON ROAD walk... walk into her gallery. You'll spend the best time giving your eyes and soul and amazing experience and be hard pressed to go anywhere else after.

GO SEE THE VLADIMIR KUSH COLLECTION AT LONGWORTH GALLERY!!
Mar 2019 • Friends
The Vladimir Kush work on display is remarkable: Picasso meets Salvador Dali, with a touch of the Buddha. It will blow your mind. The Tree of Life painting is worth several trips to fully absorb.

Horrible customer service

I will preface with an admittance that I took a photo when it wasn’t allowed. However, the sign that said “no photography” was on an open door, and was overlooked when you are looking in at the art, not at the open door. The woman working in the gallery waited for me to take a picture, watched me do it, made me delete it AND show her the rest of my photos to make sure there weren’t anymore. Then started to degrade me by saying I’m a thief for taking the picture (on my phone) and am “extremely rude” for doing so. I would be rude to go into someone’s house and take a photo (I’m not sure who’s house I’m hypothetically in) and it’s the same concept.

Every other gallery we went in allowed photos and even touching a lot of the art so it didn’t seem completely crazy.

The art is amazing and very unique so I would recommend looking online but I wouldn’t recommend going into the galley. This was the only negative experience I had throughout everything we did in Santa Fe. Every other person I came into contact with was amazing and welcoming but this woman went out of her way to make me feel horrible when it was an honest mistake.

Dear Anonymous, A shame you feel the need to disparage a gallery due to your conduct. When a person walks into a gallery and chooses to not read the 16 font sign upon entering, it puts the staff in an awkward position of having to enforce the artist contracts. So when we remind guests that they can't take photos we also try to explain the reason behind it. One's cell phone take photos at 300 dpi - good enough for a forgery. Once taken, that image goes up to the cloud for clever people to hack. It was further explained to you that taking digital photos is, and I quote: " copyright infringement which is a form of theft" as the artist does not receive any financial compensation which also written on said big sign prior to your entry into the gallery. Absolutely, many galleries do allow photography, so it is wise and polite to ask first. Of course we live in a digital age today where many young people feel that they can photograph anything they want to regardless of notices stating to the contrary. I hope this clears up any confusion. Cheers, Lisa.

It's magical!

Lisa Rogers was a concierge when we visited the location. She gave us a history of mini the pictures and paintings and showed us where the descriptions were. She spent significant time going over the kaleidoscopes in some of the history of the painters. It's the only magical and mystical gallery on Canyon Road. Lisa has a great sense of humor and will spend significant time with you if you want more details.

Unique Angel Bronzes
Oct 2018 • Couples
´Tis a glorious Autumn day with abundant sun and mid- sixties temperatures.

At The Longworth Gallery we find an Outdoor Court Yard with New Age Music and an entrance to rooms 1-7, Unique Angel Bronzes, et al.

We highly recommend a visit to The Longworth Gallery and at least a day on Canyon Road.

favorite of the galleries
May 2018 • Couples
Our favorite of the galleries on Canyon Road, especially for the Vladimir Kush paintings, which were fascinating both visually and for the written commentary. His work is not like anything else you will see on Gallery Row. We treated this gallery like a museum, and the owner was both delightful and accommodating.

A Must Visit Gallery!
Mar 2018 • Couples
I loved walking up and down Canyon Road, but by far my favorite gallery was The Longworth Gallery. I heard music playing and followed it to this hidden gem. Lisa knew every detail of every piece in her gallery. She was a delight to speak with and I loved the uniqueness of this gallery. I purchased a beautiful vase that she is shipping to me. I can't wait to fill it with flowers and remember the great time I had in Santa Fe!
