While the museum does not have her best known works, we learned a lot about her life and her working style. The free audio guide on your smart phone is very good. Bring your ear buds. Very glad we went.

One of the guides told me that the museum hasn't purchased an O'Keeffe painting in 20 years. That's how expansive their collection is. As such, the museum curates fascinating exhibits that go far beyond the typical "flower lady" paintings that have been associated with O'Keeffe...More

I have always enjoyed Okeeffe's work, but until I got the entire perspective of her life, her work, her marriage to Alfred Stieglitz, and her adoption of New Mexico as her artistic home, I only saw the surface of the artist's life. The museum is...More

We had less than an hour to see this museum which was not enough time. Really needed to see all the movies in order to get a better understanding of O'Keeffe. Would have liked to see more paintings.

I visited earlier this month and am so glad that I toured this museum! You can tour yourself or take a guided tour. There is a film to watch on the life of Georgia O'Keeffe and many works of art to view. Don't miss this!

This is a first rate museum of a first rate artist. Learn about her first and you'll understand the works better.

We enjoyed a fairly brief visit to the museum. It was wonderful to see work of Georgia O'Keeffe so different from the stereotypical huge flower paintings. If you go expecting to see only colorful flower paintings, you'll be disappointed.

I'm not sure if wheelchairs are available. But the employees there are very nice and accommodating so a quick phone call would answer your question for you! (505) 946-1000
