Overview
More
Ten Thousand Waves is inspired by the great Japanese mountain hot spring resorts. Ten minutes from downtown Santa Fe, but only minutes from the National Forest, there is nothing quite like this on the North American continent. Among piñons and junipers are beautiful outdoor hot tubs and spa suites, world-class bodywork & skin care, and the amazing izanami restaurant. For a lucky few, it is the closest lodging to the Santa Fe Ski area.

We went to Ten Thousand Waves after running a half marathon in Santa Fe. It was perfect! We just chose the cheapest bath package with the communal hot tub, cold plunge and sauna. We also had access to a foot bath and relaxation room. For...More

Stayed at Ten Thousand Waves for three nights and loved every minute of it. Only a few miles outside of Santa Fe, but feels like another world. Baths were beautiful, relaxing, and clean. Each private bath is set up for you before you enter, so...More

If I could rank Ten Thousand Waves higher than a 5 I would. My (female) friend and I spent half a day there and we only left so we could also enjoy the restaurant. This spa came recommended by 3 of our friends and the...More

A slice of Japanese bath culture just outside Santa Fe. Completely relaxing from the moment you arrive! The Japanese gardens, structures and baths set the tone for a stress free experience. Plan on spending at least a few hours here (although we could stay all...More

This spa is excellent. Some of the massage therapists are masters, and they truly know the body....The facilities were great. We also had lunch there as well. Plan on at least 3 hours

Mark Our bad! While the new Grand Bath is being tweaked to be even more spectacular (opening 9/23/15), we placed temporary guidance signs around the property, but neglected to post a bathing suit sign at the temporary public tub. I'm sorry you were inconvenienced.
