So many awesome author events that occur at this little theater along with cool uncommon movie showing and events. Met the owner George RR Martin, Neil Gaiman, Joe Abercrombie, Carrie Vaughn.... such a great addition to this town.

While visiting Santa Fe, my wife and I were walking back to our condo from Santa Fe’s Railyard area. We walked by the Jean Cocteau Cinema, a small “art type theater". Outside was featured a recent film we were interested in seeing. The next day...More

Jean Cocteau is a great place to see some unusual films. The owner, George Martin, has put a lot into the theatre without totally indoctrinating visitors. The movie theatre has a great bar with very innovative cocktails, in addition to a well appointed concession stand....More

This tiny theater shows an interesting variety of Indie movies. The staff is friendly and it has a pleasant atmosphere. And of course I had to get an autographed book for the George R R Martin fan in my life.

Interesting little cinema. Enjoyed perusing through the autographed books in the lobby before the movie. Saw a Japanese anime, which was quite enjoyable. Would go again.

I look forward to spending more days at Jean Cocteau. I went for an event - Songwriting with Zenobia - and enjoyed the space. Love the gallery and love that George R R Martin is the owner. Lots of Game of Thrones stuff around in...More
