We enjoyed a wine tasting and gourmet shopping at Estrella del Norte Vineyard. The tasting room is pet friendly, offers a nice standing area as well as tables outside. The staff was knowledgeable and social. We all purchased several bottles of wine. Our favorite ended up being the Tempranillo. We highly recommend the stop

Estrella Del Norte Vineyard & Tasting Room is just 15 minutes away from where I live, but this was my first visit. It is tucked away off the main highway but is easy to find once you are on Hwy. 503 heading towards Nambé. There is good signage. The property is pretty and the tasting-room staff and owner are welcoming.... More

We stayed in the guest house in Oct 2015 with another couple. My friend and I are native New Mexicans who really miss the beauty and unique charms of NM. The guest space has 1 1/2 baths so we shared a shower. The owner told us that that the guest space had been the former tasting room. It is charming... More

After four busy days in Santa Fe on business, we chose Estrella Del Norte Vineyard for an overnight stay in one of their cozy casitas near the tasting room. Our casita had two lovely bedrooms, 1-½ baths, a bright, inviting kitchen and a living room with fireplace tucked in between the kitchen and bedrooms. We could have held a party... More

About 15 minutes north of Santa Fe off of a back road you will find this. The entrance for us was actually around the corner and would have been easier to get to if not following GPS instructions. 6 tastes for $6 with a knowledgeable wine person serving. Holy Mole was interesting and unique. I had a few others as... More

Hi Craig! Thank you very much for your very kind review. I'm glad you came by and enjyed our Holy Mole' wine and our vineyard estate. Regarding our "Please Don't Pick the Fruit" sign, unfortunately we had to hang these signs because when our grapes, apples, pears and other fruit came into season we had visitors helping themselves to our... I visited the winery for the first time today. It's definitely a hidden gem. The grounds are beautiful and the wine spectacular! I highly recommend the Pinot noir. It's a rare find in New Mexico and definitely the best wine I tasted!

What a great experience! We tasted 6 each wines and came away with a bottle of sweet Riesling and a bottle of orange muscat , and a bottle of ginger brew for Katie. The proprietor was so sweet to give us a basic (&needed!) lesson on wine tasting.

Visited as part of a tour group. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of wine. Cute place, nice setting.....great staff. Got a bit of the history of NM wine making. The Pinot noir was lovely. Enjoyed the story of the Zozobra.

We walked into Estrella Del Norte not knowing what to expect, as we had never been to a wine tasting or vineyard before. We were afraid that it would be hoity toity and that we'd be made to feel stupid for our lack of knowledge. I'm happy to say that it was quite the contrary. Kristin instantly made us feel... More

Stopped at Estrella for a wine tasting on our drive from Santa Fe to Chimayo. Vineyards line the drive into the winery. The tasting room was rustic and wines being sampled the day we visited were very good. The owners conducted our tastings and provided interesting information about the winery and the wines. A tasting is $6 for 6 samples... More
