What a great experience! We tasted 6 each wines and came away with a bottle of sweet Riesling and a bottle of orange muscat , and a bottle of ginger brew for Katie. The proprietor was so sweet to give us a basic (&needed!) lesson on wine tasting.

Visited as part of a tour group. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of wine. Cute place, nice setting.....great staff. Got a bit of the history of NM wine making. The Pinot noir was lovely. Enjoyed the story of the Zozobra.

We walked into Estrella Del Norte not knowing what to expect, as we had never been to a wine tasting or vineyard before. We were afraid that it would be hoity toity and that we'd be made to feel stupid for our lack of knowledge. I'm happy to say that it was quite the contrary. Kristin instantly made us feel... More

Stopped at Estrella for a wine tasting on our drive from Santa Fe to Chimayo. Vineyards line the drive into the winery. The tasting room was rustic and wines being sampled the day we visited were very good. The owners conducted our tastings and provided interesting information about the winery and the wines. A tasting is $6 for 6 samples... More

We live in Santa Fe and have driven past this winery/tasting room many times without stopping. Our bad! Took out-of-town friends there yesterday and had a fun time tasting wines and having a glass of our favorites under the outdoor arbor patio. Numerous wine choices available for tasting and purchase. Kirsten was extremely helpful and very patient in dealing with... More

This is a beautiful vineyard with a nice tasting room and a friendly staff. Jason was serving 8 of us who were lined up at the bar, and he did a great job. He was knowledgable about all of the wines and quickly determined what sequence to serve each of us the wines we selected for tasting. The wine selection... More

So enjoyed our trip to Estrella del Norte! The vineyard was lovely and the staff friendly and knowledgeable especially Jason! We learned so much and he is very patient. There is an outdoor seating area where you can enjoy a glass of wine or even a bottle. They have snacks for purchase and they don't mind if you bring your... More

Who would have thought we could taste wine surrounded by pinot noir grapes approaching harvest? A beautiful oasis in Northern New Mexico, a good size tasting room with multiple serves, and a great deal - 6 tastes for $6, with a good mix of white, red, and dessert wines. We really enjoyed the tempranillo, and the pinot was lean and... More

We stopped for a wine tasting in this beautiful country type setting amongst the grape vines. Kirsten did an excellent job describing the wines and setting up our experience. Each tasting was $1 and the recommendation was for 6 wines for $6. I enjoyed the 2007 Cabernet the best, while my husband liked the root beer soda from Zia. The... More

We were traveling through the area and stopped for a little break. My husband and I both did the wine tasting which was $6.00 each, I believe. I prefer sweeter wines, so there wasn't much for me but my husband loved his. The gift shop area is very nice and the grounds are small but really pretty. We purchased one... More
