We had family visiting from out of town & thought the Pinzgauer tour sounded like fun. We were disappointed with the 90 min tour which was more "on-road" than "off-road." We went to Tesuque Peak which was our only stop. We could not hear our guide when he was talking while driving, so, we missed any knowledge he may have... More

Julia was our guide and she was fabulous - so knowledgable and engaging. We were able to climb up into a number of cave dwellings and Julia even brought snacks and water as the weather was quite warm. The views were breathtaking! What an experience of a life time! Thanks so much! Anne

We went on two trips, the 4x4 off road trip to top of mountains and the Pecos trip as well. Both trips were excellent. The guides were so very good at their jobs, both in driving and in their casual but cultured way of introducing you to the area and the history without it being like a history lesson. The... More

My husband and I went on the 4x4 adventure tour with Joe as our guide. It was a cool day in town, but the tour was even cooler.. we were very glad that the weather held out so we were able to go. Joe was awesome, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area and it's history and culture. It... More

My wife and I had a tour with Tom Gallego's, and what a great day! Tom was energetic, excited, and loves the history of New Mexico. Took us to Tsankawi and Bandolier (as they do not provide guides) He kept us moving, but with patience. His knowledge is extensive, and fun. We saw a Kiva at Bandolier, and he and... More

My family came to Santa Fe to ski, but skiing is not really my thing. I wanted to do something different but still be able to get outdoors and enjoy the snow and beautiful scenery. I chose snowshoeing and I am so glad I did! It was an amazing experience! Santa Fe Walkabouts did an excellent job helping me plan... More

Joe with 4X4 Tour took us on an adventurous trip to Tesuque Peak in the "Pinzgauer" On our 2 stops along the route we enjoyed his knowledge of the territory and history of the state. Don't miss this exciting experience while you are in Santa Fe.

I chose to hike with a guide for our family of 5 in Tent Rocks not because we aren't experienced hikers but because I wanted MORE - was hoping for the information, education, entertainment that only a professional guide can provide to make our day as spectacular and memorable as possible. Our guide was quiet, timid, and awkward at times... More

I've booked solo tours with this group three times. As a single female traveler it's difficult to really get out and see things and still feel comfortable. I look forward to my tours all year long. They pick you up at your hotel, have interesting conversation en route to your destination and are reasonably priced. Next time out is White... More
