It's worth taking this class just to enjoy Michelle Chavez who combines history, culture and an occasionally wicked sense of humor while guiding you through a number of dishes. I took the introductory New Mexican class which is lecture style - your only role is...More

Attended the Traditional Southwestern Foods 2 session, and learned both about the great foods of Santa Fe, Hatch chile, spices, and overall cooking technique. Excellent instructors, both veteran culinary educators, who understood the intricacies of each dish being prepared. Richly-flavored carne adovada and chiles rellenos,...More

I suggest this for people who like to cook. It was especially fun to do with friends. We were quite full so we cancelled our dinner plans. Lovely facility and friendly staff.

We came with a group of about 80 professional people for an afternoon activity, which consisted of a salsa making competition. Each person, on entering the building, chose a color of an apron which turned out to subsequently assign us to a different team. Each...More

Yes. They give you a printed pamphlet with the recipes in it and space to take notes. This class was great.
