Historic museum right off the plaza. Good over view of the last century in New Mexico. Building is also interesting on second floor. They have revolving exhibits.

Well worth the time and admission price. A well appointed space exhibiting an interesting collection and special shows. We were lucky enough to see their special show on Georgia Okeefes process.

The entrance fee is $9.00 and two of their biggest galleries were closed for mounting new exhibits. Only a few Baumann prints and other folkish art were on display. It took about 20 minutes to review. The admission should be altered when 2/3 of the...More

A nice museum with lovely art and native crafts. Great place to spend time when it is too hot or rainy.

Got to experience more of Georgia O'Keefe's early works, portraits and sketches. Extremely interesting and worth it. Also really enjoyed the Gustauv Bauman exhibit. Beautiful and inspiring!

We first went to the Georgia Okeefe museum but most of it was off limits as they were modifying exhibits - the curators told us that about 40 paintings by Ms. O'Keefe were on display at the NMMOA. We were pleased with the paintings on...More

An OK museum with decent Southwest artists represented. Not a very large exhibit space. You can tour the place in about an hour. We chose to visit because O'Keefe museum is closed while they set up fresh exhibit. We were told that we could find...More

I work in a museum - and enjoyed my visit here. It is small. The building is lovely. First floor offered a mixed exhibition of Taos artists and more contemporary artists - both enjoyable. The contemporary gallery on the second floor featured rather mediocre artists.
