A friend kept urging me to go to 10,000 Waves but as a busy tourist I just wanted a good massage in town. I remembered High Desert from when it was on Palace Street and tracked it down to its current location. It's even nicer now. Luckily I was assigned the massage therapist Catherine. What a lovely person and a... More

This place is less expensive than the big spas @ has local clientele. One of the best deep tissue massages I have ever had. Charlotte real knows her stuff!

We have been looking for a high quality, affordable massage place ever since arriving in Santa Fe a few months ago. The quest continues! This place has a nice, almost hippy vibe to it, but we were both disappointed in our therapists. They delivered very mild deep tissue massages, despite the person that booked us telling us that she put... More

Prior to booking a massage at High Desert, I checked out the competition in downtown Santa Fe. I receive massages periodically throughout the year, so I have a fair idea of the cost. Prior to looking, I was told that most anything downtown Santa Fe was going to be "on the expensive side". At @ $125/$135 per hour, plus tip,... More

My husband and I were visiting Santa Fe after driving cross country for many days...we were in need of a good relaxing massage. High Desert Healthcare & Massage was able to fit us in the very next morning. Diane and Ellen were just what we needed to work out the neck, shoulder, and lower back aches and pains. One of... More

Booked a massage for family member. From the phone booking, walking into the building, I was put at ease they would take care of my mother. She said this massage was the best she has ever had. The therapist was Amelia, and next time we come I plan on booking one for myself besides my mother also.

I went based on a recommendation, read some of the reviews here. As a visitor, and one in some pain, the atmosphere, or lack of it was not my priority. I received an excellent massage, and left feeling much better then when I enter, and better then I hoped for. So good I wish I was here longer so I... More

Santa Fe is a town known for its complementary healthcare, so services like massage are available throughout the community and can be obtained at many places. However, in my 30 years here, I have never received better treatment than the attention from the professionals at High Desert. They are superb. In addition, I would like to thank one of the... More

I booked a massage for my son and myself. In the past we have had massages at a local spa that I felt was too overpriced, so I decided to try High Desert. My son was immediately put off because the atmosphere is not "spa-zen" with cucumber water, robes, soft music, candles, dim lighting, etc. But I told him to... More
