Great trip and testimony you get what you pay for. Saw many Orcas and other wild life. Watching sea lion decimate a skate was amazing. Ride to and from watch area fast and comfortable. Learned a lot .

WOW! Our family of 4 took a sea plane from Seattle to Friday Harbor in August (Kenmore Air-also highly recommend) for a day trip that was centered around our tour with Maya's Legacy. Our day was simply amazing (a "pinch me" kind of day), largely...More

I can't say enough great things about Maya's. We ended up having to reschedule our tour and went out of Snug Harbor. A short drive from our hotel in Friday Harbor, but well worth the drive! We went on the 6 person excursion with boat...More

Yes! I believe all three do, although I can only speak for the boat we were on, Imagine. This boat had a bathroom as well as a covered cabin with heated seats!

Hello. My husband & I are traveling to SJI for our honeymoon in mid May. I would Love to do a whale watching trip but I am worried that it is disruptive to the whales. It would be amazing to see them up close, Wild and free but I could not enjoy it if I was on a boat among many filled with humans crowding around a pod. I have heard that some tours are more ecofriendly than others in this way. I have also heard that there is a distance requirement & am wondering how this works. We are staying in an ocean view rental near Lime Kiln Park so we may see them from shore. If that is better for the whales, then we don't have to do a whale watching boat tour.
