Of things to do in Friday Harbor All Aboard Sailing offers a unique experience - to charter a traditional wood boat and day sail with whales. Daily, yearly close to nature encounters can include watching and listening to the sounds of Orcas whales, Humpback whales, Minke whales, Sealions, Seals, Eagles and Diving Seabirds. S/V Peniel is a beautifully restored 1956 42' pilot house sloop of yellow cedar on steam bent oak. With the large flush foredeck we can accommodate Kayaks, Paddleboards, Dive trips, Weddings, Families, Film Crews, Photography and Camping. Very spacious we sail with 6 passengers a Captain and naturalist - or - charter the whole boat for your family. Take the helm, learn the lines and participate in sailing under the guidance of USCG licensed Captain David Howitt. For extreme winter sailing comfort is assured with mustang deck suits, a spacious pilot house and a warm galley. If you plan to visit outer islands we can anchor and utilize a tender. Sails can include Barbecued salmon supper. Every trip is different and for sure a memorable experience in the San Juan Islands.
