Recently, we visited Reid Harbor at Stuart Island. We were successful crabbing, we hiked to the Turn Point Light--a great hike, and we were able to relax in our boat. We do it every time we come! We did not see any whales while we...More

I think our 3-day/2-night stay on Stuart Island was the perfect sample of the Pacific Northwest and the San Juans. Crystal Seas guided our family out and back from Friday Harbor, and helped us enjoy the surroundings.

Boated in to Prevost Harbor to camp, but do not have a dinghy. No place to tie up due to yachts taking over the dock. No one would raft. Yachts could have easily anchored and come in by dinghy as every one had one. Docked...More

We love anchoring at Stuart Island and hiking to the light house. We have to buy t-shirts for our grandkids every year on our walk to the school house. You pick the style and size you want out of a large "treasure chest" and send...More

A good camping state park whether you are biking/hiking in or driving a motor home. A small "beach" is accessible by a short walk. Probably one of the better beaches on the island. There is a lot of room to get good sunset views.

One of the great things about Stuart Island is it isn't easy to get there otherwise it would be crowded like the rest of the San Juan Islands..
