Recently, we visited Reid Harbor at Stuart Island. We were successful crabbing, we hiked to the Turn Point Light--a great hike, and we were able to relax in our boat. We do it every time we come! We did not see any whales while we...More
My husband and I moor our boat in Reid Harbour for a few weekends every summer and will ever travel over and just have a bbq on the boat for an evening; it is absolutely one of our favourites! We live in Victoria, BC so...More

A good camping state park whether you are biking/hiking in or driving a motor home. A small "beach" is accessible by a short walk. Probably one of the better beaches on the island. There is a lot of room to get good sunset views.
