The first thing i realized was that immediately you can smell all the lavendar when you open your car door, it was wonderful. The only thing that would make this better, would be a true restroom and not an port a potty.

SJI's Itinerary Suggestions (3 Replies)
Hello TA Experts! My husband and I (both in our 20's, active, and love everything outdoorsy) are planning a trip to the SJI's from July 25-Aug 1 (Sat-Sat), and could use some help with the itinerary. The main highlight of our trip will be a sea kayak camping trip with Outdoor Odysseys to hopefully catch sight of the whales up close! The kayak trip will be July 28-30 (Tues-Thurs). Leaving Saturday (for arrival), Sun-Mon, and then Fri-Sat (departure day). We figure the first day of the trip...More

Coffee/scones and a cursory walk around English Camp on the island's northwest side; gunmetal-hued skies and then the sort of drizzle that had prompted us to pack hooded rainwear for our Northwest vacation. Still there was pleasure in poking around Friday Harbor's plethora of shops, and at the Arctic Raven Gallery, I purchased a highly graphic design silk scarf. Unhappily lunch was pub grub as Lakedale's means of comping us for the inconvenience of the check-in housekeeping glitch was a...More
