Fragrant, beautiful fields of the perfect shade of purple. A great place at no cost to take a photo shoot.
Excellent beautiful fields of lush lavender, the smell of lavender all around you and a fantastic place that’s open, perfect lighting and all around great place for family, graduation, kids, or couples for a beautiful photo opportunity. May I mention that there’s no charge to visit the fields. They do have a wonderful gift shop. I do recommend the lavender soap bar for your drawers.
Thank you for your lovely review Julie! We appreciate it immensely!

    Pretty location, yummy ice cream
Lovely fields of many lavendar varieties where you can cut your own bouquet. Pretty lake that has a sailing race underway. Nice shop with fresh lavendar ice cream (yummy) and lavendar lemonaid.
We are delighted you visited during the summer bloom! Thank you for sharing a lovely review with us!

    GET YOUR LAVENDER HIT HERE!
Like visiting the south of France. The farm is in the middle of the island and the drive is nice, through the countryside. The lavender was nearly done when I visited, but it still smelled wonderful. The gift shop is just lovely with so many products starring lavender, from lavender oil roll-ons to shortbread and everything in between. It's a lovely farm with cutting fields and the grounds are free to visit.

Acres and acres of lavender with bumblebees & honey bees busy at work provided a nice back drop to sitting and enjoying our lavender vanilla ice cream that we purchased on site. The picnic tables were spread apart providing a safe distance during the Covid-19 Pandemic. My husband & I shared a cup of ice cream and the subtle flavor of lavender was just the perfect touch. We also visited the gift shop which had placed appropriate 6' markings for social distancing and was limiting the number of shoppers at any one time. Masks were mandatory. These protocols were greatly appreciated and assured us that they were taking the necessary precautions to protect their shoppers & staff! The shop was filled with wonderful tempting items. We had a lovely visit!

It was easy to spot the lavender farm, Acres of beautiful purple lavender growing in rows. There was plenty of parking we walked over to the tent and saw some of the items for sale and bought lavender ice cream. We sat under a tent, it still was pretty hot. The lavender ice cream didn’t taste like lavender; it wasn’t anything special. We did go into the main building where they had lots of lavender products and information about the 30 different varieties of lavender here. I wanted to buy lavender bug spray but they were sold out. I bought lavender fudge and lavender body oil as gifts to bring home.

We stopped by later in the afternoon and enjoyed exploring the farm. Interpretive signs explained the processes and factors affecting lavender growth and types. A wide range of lavender products are available in the gift shop and a small cafe out by the field included lavender ice-cream on their menu. We also enjoyed a game of croquet on the lawn.

Great exhibits on how they grow and harvest lavender and make the lavender oil. Picnic tables, clean port-a-potties, ice cream and gift shop. Sits across the street from a pretty pond.
Stopped here during our cycling tour with Thomas of Cycles San Juan.

It was quite easy to find and location has free parking. I learned lavender come in more than one variety!! They have long established plants and newly planted ones. It was nice to walk Amoy g the plants. There is no admission to visit the farm and the fo offer lavender ice cream, tea, lemonade, and chocolate all for purchase. Ground is hilly so just be cautious when walking around.

This is a bit of a drive from downtown Friday Harbor but well worth it. It's incredibly beautiful and great photo ops. Their gift shop has an amazing selection and they are practicing strict Covid-19 safety protocols. Highly recommended

If you love lavender, really love lavender, then head out to the source, Pelindaba Lavender Farm, just outside of town. It's lavender lavender lavender. Lavender essences. Lavender soap. Lavender fields. And, most interestingly, the massive lavender press where they turn the stalks into all of these magnificent products. In addition to visiting the store and viewing the press in action, head out to the fields and take a stroll. If you love lavender, this is a must visit

I purchased a large Lavender Hand & Body at the Friday Harbor farm. When I got home to California, the pump was not working properly. I wanted it replaced so I called them but each time I got the recording saying someone would call within 24 hours. I have not heard from them. Poor customer service and frankly, when at the farm I was treated very abruptly. I won’t be visiting again.

We were supposed to go to the lavender festival mid July but it was cancelled due to covid. We rode our ebikes from a Friday Harbor. We were able to walk the fields. It was so beautiful and we loved seeing all the bees pollinating the plants. Some nice sculptures are also on the grounds. The gift shop was open with social distancing and we got some of their products. I definitely recommend visiting if you are in San Juan Island.
