Whales were far off shore the day we visited, but often residents say just off short and visible from beach. Still restful and pretty site.

Great view of the Sound and surrounding islands. Did not see any whales, but there was a Harbor Seal resting on the rocks and the view was great. Very short walk to either the light house or viewing area. Great place to snack and relax.

An incredible array of marine mammals, flora and fauna can be experienced while visiting this park on San Juan Island. The Orca pods swim very close to the rocky shoreline thrilling tourists and locals throughout the year, but especially in the summer months.

Washington State Ferry from Anacortes to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island. About a 1 hour trip. Lime Kiln Park is on the west side of the island about 20 to 30 minutes from Friday Harbor.
