This little center at Lime Kiln is centrally located for convenience for everyone. Its staffed with helpful people and bright and tempting to buy their swag. I bet its nice and warm when the weather is stormy. Nice sculptures and restrooms near by.

Great place to visit. Very amazing views and water location. Nice little trails and paths to meander around and the scenery is fantastic. Had there been time, I'd have just sat there all day and watched the water. So calming. Great stop as you're touring...More

Great place. We hiked the trails and sat on the rocks and saw the resident Orcas return home -- we watched as they breached the water and sang their songs.

Visiting Lime Kiln Point was beautiful. Highly recommend visiting it in the early morning before all the tourists show up and bikers if you want some nice photos. This is an orca whale hotspot, even though we didn't see any whales while visiting, but it...More

The folks behind the counter were knowledgeable and friendly. The display was detailed but would also keep a kid's attention. The center is easy to access and the day we visited there was a box of fresh Washington apples available for snacks.

This place is stunning. They keep tracking records of the Orca. And have tons of information about viewing them. Well worth the visit.

I was there in late August, early September and some of the leaves were already changing to fall colors. Beautiful coastal scenery without any crowds. This is a great place to be at sunset, especially at West End, just south of this park.

We actually never saw any transportation but others said they are. If you are going to the other Islands you might need a car. I would think you need a car to go see Mt. Constitution on Orca Island. That is the best view I... More

Washington State Ferry from Anacortes to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island. About a 1 hour trip. Lime Kiln Park is on the west side of the island about 20 to 30 minutes from Friday Harbor.
