This is one of the best places to shop for local artists' creations in Friday Harbor. We always find something to buy when we shop here. Don't miss the outdoor garden art area in the back - you'll be glad you visited!

We came home with a wonderful cedar drift wood carving. We just enjoyed all the variety of art works. We'll be back---maybe glass or metal art next.

Don't miss this eclectic gift shop! Everything from crafts, jewelry, plants, and paper goods. Check out the garden in the back which is full of unique pots, plants and garden accessories. Hard a hard time deciding what to buy but settled on a fused glass pendant which garners compliments every time I wear it. Within easy walking distance of the... More

I could spend hours going through all the different pieces in so many different mediums by all the various local artist at Island Studios. I get lost there flipping through the paintings, walking through the sculpture garden out back, checking out the glass art and jewelry. As an artist myself, I am often inspired to go home and start working... More

I visit Friday Harbor about twice a year and ALWAYS visit Island Studios--and ALWAYS find some special gift or keepsake to take away. However, the real reason I go is to visit the koi...what beauties they are...a little treasure for me.

I fell in love with this gallery, and every time we walked by, I had to stop and look again. I especially liked the outdoor section in the back, with all of the colorful garden art. The art on display inside is all by very talented local artists, and wonderful.

This is my favorite shop in town. I spend 1-2 hours there when I shop. They sell merchandise made by local artists and artisans. A wide range of products from paintings to soap and garden art. The music they play is even from a local musician. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

If you only visit one shop in Friday Harbor, this is the place to go for the best collection of art made by locals in a wide range of mediums -- glass, pottery, wood, jewelry, photography, garden delights (fish pond/garden out back), and much more. Delightful browsing and great gift shopping!
