Booked a three day camping/kayaking trip with Sea Quest adventures in July of 2015. Picked this time because from everything I read it seemed like our most likely time to actually see orcas while on the water. Went out with a group of 10. Sea Quest provided tents, cooking, campsite reservations, and most importantly a trained guide who was knowledgeable... More

We were staying at SeaTac, but I really wanted to do this. We rented a car for a day to drive the 100 miles up to Anacortes to catch the ferry over to Friday Harbor. We were taking a huge gamble because of course there is no guarantee you will see whales. Everything went like clockwork. The day was gorgeous... More

On August 21st my husband and I took a Half-Day Kayak Tour from San Juan Island for $89 each plus tax. I had been to the San Juan Islands to Orca watch before with a whale watching company and saw several Orcas fairly close up. This time I wanted to have an even better experience in viewing the whales so... More

Went on a Sea Quest expedition with my boyfriend and his family at the beginning of a Washington state vacation. I have to say I was a little nervous at first, because I had never been on a sea-kayak before, but with the tandem kayak set-up every fear turned into an excitement to get out on the water. We had... Basically, this whole day went fine. Weather was great, we came to see 3 pods of orcas & a humpback. The guide, Elizabeth, did a great job explaining everything we could know about orcas & the local environment, plus its history. Lastly, I had never kayaked before & it wasn't an issue. If I have the opportunity, I'd do it... More

Had a great day out with Martine who was a fantastic host and guide. The trip was adapted to accommodate the forecast of wind and we managed a paddle along the coast although it did not turn out too bad in the end. Sadly we did not see any orcas on our trip although they had been around a few... More

Did the afternoon tour and had a perfect day out on the water. About 10 minutes after we launched the kayaks we saw a pod of orcas from a distance. Felt so fortunate to have seen them right away. Had a nice group of people and great guide. Was an easy pick up in town to get to launch location.... More

We took the six hour trip through Haro Strait. At times there were so many Orcas that we didn't know where to look. Elizabeth's infectious enthusiasm and vast knowledge of the sea life and area in general also helped to make this such a memorable trip. A sea lion a out 20 feet from our kayaks put the finising touches... More

Markus was our guide on our kayak tour last night. It was a nice experience, saw some wildlife, learned about the marine life and ecosystem, and had a great time. Thank you Markus for a memorable trek. Jon - from Dallas Texas

Marcus took our group on a single day kayaking tour to the Orcas main hunting ground. although we weren't lucky enough to see the pods, he focused the trip on many other subjects of marine biology. I can say I learned things I never knew before that day! we were lucky enough to see a harbor dolphin (porpoise), sea lions,... More
