My family of 5 (3 boys ages 16, 15 and 11) had a blast on our first day in San Antonio taking a scooter tour with Jose and Julio. I highly recommend their tours as a family friendly, safe and fun activity. This was my husband and my first time riding a scooter, and they were very easy to learn. I was never worried about safety on the tour, as Jose and Julio were always looking out for cars and preparing us for bumps in the road. We did the Japanese Tea Garden tour and loved the scenic path through Brackenridge park. Jose gave us history all throughout and made it so enjoyable for everyone. My boys wanted to go again the next day!

Forget the expensive segway tours, this is the way to explore San Antonio!
This tour takes you off the beaten track, and shows you more than just the touristy side of the city - and it's not as exhausting as bike tours (which is a big bonus, given the San Antonio heat). Our tour guide Jose was very knowledgeable and fun!
The scooters are a great (and eco friendly) way to get around.
Don't be fooled by the little reviews that are on TripAdvisor: the company has only been around for a very short time - but definitely here to stay! Locally owned and operated. I would highly recommend taking a tour with these guys!

I rented the Bird scooters first and they were awesome although a bit rough on cobblestone. I rented a Razr because of the big basket and the first one was great. We got breakfast to take back to the room and when I came out, the battery was dead. So I had to find a new one. I tried 9 (yes 9) different scooters and none of them worked. So we walked back to the room and the breakfast was cold. Rent the Birds.

I have visited the mission before but using the electric scooter gave me a sense of freedom and control I had not had before. Riding the scooter was was a first for me and the weather was beautiful for the tour. If you have trouble walking or standing the scooters provide you the opportunity to move away from an uncomfortable setting quickly like finding a restroom.

Was perfect Jose was a great tour guide. My family and I had a blast on the evening tour. The light show at the end was unreal. You have to try this tour if you get a chance.

For my nephews 12th birthday, I decided to do things a little different. Instead of a gift, I gave him an experience. Time spent together, doing something different, in our own city. It turned out AWESOME! It was easy to book. Jose communicated well. He was flexible and shifted the tour around to accommodate our group. My nephew had a great time, and so did the rest of us. We can’t wait to do this again. Although we were all a little nervous at first (the scooters are powerful and can be a little intimidating at first) Jose made sure we were all comfortable before hitting the road. By the end of our tour, we were all pros. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We thought the Riverwalk cruise would be the highlight of our trip in San Antonio, but in the end, we enjoyed the scooter tours more than anything else. We had two scooter tours with Jose and Julio: Mission Concepcion and Japanese Tea Garden tours, both were excellent. Originally we were thinking of trying Segway tours but my daughter was below the required weight, so we decided to go with the electrical scooter tour, which ended up being a lot more fun than we originally expected. After the first tour, my two teenagers (13 and 15) loved it so much, so we went for another tour on the next day. Our tour guide Jose was very accommodating and easygoing. He provided us water bottles, sunblock lotion, helmets, knee pads, etc. He constantly checked on us when we were riding across streets and not only told us interesting information about the places we went to, but also maintained a friendly, down-to-earth atmosphere. Highly recommend these scooter tours to everyone of all ages.

Every year we take our grandchildren, now ages 14 and 15, on a grandparents trip (no adults allowed). This year we chose San Antonio as our destination. I like to look for different and unique ways to tour our destinations.....Scooter Power Tours was the ticket!!!!
Jose lead us around the River Walk, South Town, Mission Conception, the Alamo...giving us an descriptive and interesting history of the area.
With the electric scooters we were able to see more of the sights than we would have been able to walk, and with the heat, it was the perfect way to get around!
Both kids and grandparents agreed that Jose and Scooter Power Tours was an eight thumbs up!
