This free night time event is a must see! A beautiful light show depicting the history of San Antonio. So happy to be here on a Tuesday..not crowded at all.

Projection on Half the Cathedral only (will not recommend to others)
Jul 2021
In the past this was the absolute highlight of our trip to San Antonio. We were there this past weekend and couldn't wait to take our friends. It was very disappointing! Only the left half of the cathedral was used for the projection, It was just not the same. Hopefully whatever is broken will be repaired soon. The full projection is very impressive ... can't believe they didn't have a backup!

Wonderful Experience!
Apr 2021
I was so fortunate to be in San Antonio on a Tuesday because I would have hated to have missed this. It was incredible! We were able to watch it from our hotel balcony at the Drury Inn and Suites which was nice because it was raining slightly during the show. Definitely not to be missed!

Spectacular

Put attending Saga at the top of your list when visiting San Antonio. The colors were bright & the music was paired with it beautifully. We sat up front, which I think was harder to take in the full scope of the show. Because the show isn’t long, standing for it wasn’t bad. There are limited benches & chairs available for those who want to sit.

Free music/light show telling the history of Texas/SA which is projected onto the cathedral. Currently there are three shows Tuesday, Friday-Sunday. There is seating on the plaza so get there early. We sat on the ground up front for a great view. There are vendors selling drinks and snacks. Make sure you bring your camera!!!

A highlight of our trip! This light and music show is phenomenal! It tells the history of South Texas in a beautiful and unique way. We went twice and I'm sure that if we went again we would notice something that we missed.

Stunning

This was a fantastic show and very well done. While we are not from Texas and didn't understand the meaning of all the images we still enjoyed it very much. I would definitely recommend taking 30 minutes out of your trip to watch this show. And, it was no charge.

A Beautiful, Unique Combination of Art and History
Sep 2020
We were blown away by The Saga. What a beautiful, creative display that perfectly combines art and history. This was one of our favorite things that we did on our trip to San Antonio. We arrived a little early for the 9:00 p.m. showtime and were able to get seats at one of the small cafe tables with chairs they have scattered around the plaza. The show was fantastic, very colorful and accompanied by music. It tells the story of San Antonio - its discovery, settlement, and eventual development into the modern, vibrant city it is today through imagery projected onto the San Fernando Cathedral, a beautiful church that dates from the 1700s. There are multiple showtimes that vary by day, so check the website for the latest information. This show is so unique; I'd say it's a don't miss when you visit San Antonio, especially if you're an art or history buff, and best of all it's free!

DO NOT MISS THIS
Jun 2020
If I told people not to miss one thing in San Antonio( the riverwalk is implied why people are there) it is the Saga. It had just reopened when we were there. (The people distancing was great.) This show is like nothing I have ever seen. I highly enjoyed it, and the music leads you on the journey when the visuals were changing. Excellent art work
