I took my 14 and 10 year old daughters to the San Antonio Aquarium and we had a blast! The staff was very helpful and informative. My daughters fed a porcupine, stingrays, iguanas and a gang of birds! I highly recommend it for the family...More

Having been to zoo-like experiences and aquariums around the world (except for China), this is the saddest one I have ever seen in a developed country. Lemurs are housed in a cage with fluorescent strip lighting over a painted concrete floor strewn with some bark...More
Do not visit this aquarium, if it can even be called that due to the lack of aquatic animals they have. The animals they do have don't seem to be taken care of properly, the tanks were not clean, the building is even worse off...More
Aquarium is a bit of a misnomer ... this is really a giant petting zoo where you can interact with animals that normally you wouldn't be permitted to touch. My daughter fell in love with the armadillo and even it's (kind of gross) diet didn't...More

If you're going to name a place after the city it's in; it should be on-point. The fact that both the dinosaur statues out front have their tails broken off and no one has fixed them in months gives you some idea how this place...More

Cats can carry a disease that can be deadly to the kangaroos and lemurs. If you have a cat you can’t go in with the kangaroos, but with the lemurs they can spray your shoes to kill whatever the germ is.
