Love to go there for Trivia Night. Nice beer selection good tater tots. We usually have a burger it is nothing special but not bad. Service is pretty poor they will bring your food to you but you have to go and get your own drinks at the bar. Indoor and outdoor seating. They have pool tables, nothing fancy. I have learned not to run a tab though as most often they add a few things we did not have on it. The first time I had to argue with the bartender to give me an itemized bill when she finally relented I realized she had overcharged me by over $20.00. Now when I go I pay as I go to keep this from happening.

Cool place for a hangout. You can catch drink specials everyday and even some snacks and apps. This is our goto bar if for the last few minutes of the game or Sunday funday! I recommend this place

Checked this place out last Sunday. Terrible service. Terrible mimosas. Mediocre food. I have been to quite a few brunch spots and I am putting The Hangar on my "Never Go There Again" list. The redhead bartender/server was the worst ever. Not sure what her problem was. But she perked up once it was time to check out. They bring your food out, but never come back to check on you. Expect to make trips to the bar for everything that you may need. Our first round of mimosas were good, but after that they were simply OJ with a splash of champagne. The redhead's response was, "Well, that's why they're a $1." There are multiple brunch spots in the city that good, cheap mimosas so her answer just didn't make sense and quite frankly it was rude. I guess this explains why the place was empty. From 11-2, I'd say 10 people showed up. Do brunch right or just don't do it at all. Stick with being a bar as the bar staff clearly has no interest in serving brunch or dealing with the brunch crowd. With so much competition, I'd expect an establishment to at least provide great service. Considering there were only 10 people and 2 bartenders, not sure why the service was so bad. I have no reason to ever go back to The Hangar. There are entirely too many places in San Antonio that actually deliver great food, great drinks and great service.
