The balcony is very close to the stage compared to other larger theaters, and if you want to be even closer to the stage, buy a general admission ticket to the floor area and arrive an hour early.

“Q” Queen rocked the house - Hart cleared it out with intangible lyrics, awful sound etc. “Q”ueen was an excellent the Aztec was a wonderful building with good sound , friendly staff

Went to watch the Chippendales review for my 50th birthday. Had never been to the Aztec. What a beautiful venue! Colorful, bright and a great place to explore! I'd love to visit there again!

Awesome historic building right by the river, great stage, friendly staff. Would definitively recommend and come back to see bands, concerts, other entertainment.

Attended Dita Von Teese burlesque show here. Stood outside in the "HEAT" forever. the theatre SHOULD have let everyone in as they were selling liquor, beer, etc. Got in, finally and the downstairs bar was packed 10 deep. We go upstairs and the bar there...More

Went and watched Theory of a Deadman here....probably one of the best concert/venues I’ve been to! The Aztec is easily located downtown...the decor is just awesome...visited the Warrior Room and was greeted with plenty of friendliness! The bars located within the venue are easily reachable...More

There is usually a crowd on the floor, depending on who's playing.. Length of the line outside is a good indicator of what to expect. Try to line up early enough to have time to grab your refreshments on the way in. Floor... More

Yes at all ages shows, however some shows maybe be limited to mature audiences.
