This park is very centrally located on NW Military and Wurzbach and is huge. It has 2 sections and both sections are quite elaborate. In all there are 2 exclusive kids play areas. It has a big soccer field, basketball court, volleyball court, walking trail, least difficulty hike. It has good parking area. great for kids birthday parties also. We... More

I come here to run on a regular basis and it's the greatest park in San Antonio to run. Great area for kids and families, plenty of people on the trails so you feel a little safer than somewhere that is derelict. Also love that it is now connected to McAllister park and can make the run longer.

Come enjoy the great Texas out of doors. There is an event center with classrooms available for interactive studies of urban ecological systems. Their are trails to walk, run and hike...all are marked with mileage and place to sit if needed along the way. Looking for a place to earn badges for scouting, naturalist studies, working on a degree in... More

Fun park with tons of shade! Great walking/running trail. I take my daughter in the stroller for walks around the park trail. It says it's a little over a mile around. It's a fun start to our mornings. The playground is huge. They have the soft padded ground under all the equipment. Merry-go-round, large slide, tons of climbing equipment, swings,... More

This has been my go-to park within the city limits for years. Great for jogging, mountain biking, kids, dogs and picnics. I love this place. They offer a lot of nature tours and exhibits that you should keep an eye out for as well.

Loved the abundance of trails at this park. Best part was the ability to step off the paved part into the trees at any point to find even more trails.

As strangers to the area the swing park took some finding - mainly because there is an Eastern and Western section. The Western entrance is on Military Highway the Eastern section on BLanco and this is where you find the children's swing park. Under all the climbing frames, swings, roundabouts etc there is a rubberised surface to save injuries. Our... More

This park has a larger than average dog park that is quite nice. We have never been disappointed and they maintain this area frequently.
