Tina and Tommy are excellent tour guides, and they have created such a fun event. My husband and I had never been to San Antonio, but they gave us an excellent taste of the city. It would be great to do it your first morning in SA so you know what to visiti later on your stay. They are friendly and personable, and they are so happy to accomodate the pace of any kind of runner, and they were fun to chat with while running. They take tons of pictures and post them to facebook later in the afternoon. They split up and one of them runs ahead to get pictures from on top of Riverwalk bridges or across the street from landmarks. Their pictures are way more fun than posed shots. Tommy & Tina know fun facts about landmarks, the city, the mayor, the Riverwalk and places to eat. They carried water for everyone (even though it wasn't hot today)and they had water at the end with our T-shirts. If you don't think you could run a whole 5K but are working on that distance, you can still do this! There are enough stops that you will have lots of rest. If you are an experienced runner, don't expect it to be a regular 5K workout. But it will still be fun and a WAY better way to see the city than walking around with a map with the other tourists. I would recommend it to anyone!

Our family of 4 from the UK (Scotland) went for an early morning run with the RCR and really enjoyed it. the 2 leaders brought San Antonio to life and we saw sights that we hadn't come across on our previous days walks. would definitely recommend this for others and the running was not exactly taxing, as we stopped very frequently.

I thoroughly enjoyed Tina and Tommy's vast knowledge about the downtown San Antonio area. The run was not too fast and not too slow. Well worth the time and money!

Had so much fun touring the city in such an organic way. I'm an avid runner and often do races when I'm in a new city to explore and get a run in. Tina was great, super knowledgeable but not boring with details. Great insights on the history and suggestions for what to do when here. Because I didn't arrive in time for the group run, they were so accommodating to set me up with a private run on a different day--this proved to be awesome; more freedom to chat, set the pace, go for the 10k option, and take plenty of pictures. More leisurely than a training run, but still a good fun workout for vacation. Loved it. Would definitely recommend! Wish every city had this!!

This was a fantastic way to see and hear about downtown San Antonio! I was here TDY for a nursing conference with the Air Force and several of us from our class decided this would be a fun way to have a guided tour of SA. We were right! It was a lot of fun and informative. The guides were awesome, knowledgeable and friendly! You could tell they enjoy what they do. They put this tour together because they want to share the rich culture and heritage of San Antonio with others. This is a great trip for all ages. Plenty of stops on the way to learn about different buildings and people, so don't worry about not being a great runner. They are dog friendly too! I highly recommend this tour :).

We really enjoyed this amazing tour on 4th of July weekend! It was the perfect way to see the amazing city of San Antonio. You beat the crowds and the heat while getting an unmatched tour of the city. We came back the same day and revisited the sites again with the rest of our family and had fun regurgitating the fun facts that Lance and Jonny(?) taught us!!! We will definitely do this again!!
