Legend & History Tour

Randy was a great guide and very animated. If you are expecting a "ghost" tour, this is not for you. More of a folklore tour.

Do not under any circumstance let this guy take your money. We bought the tour for our grown children and grandchildren. We called and made reservation for tonight. We personally talked to Randy and he gave us instructions to meet him at the gazebo at 8:45 to start tour at 9:00. We had the family take cab to make it... More

Tour guide and history buff Randy does an excellent job of recalling legends and historical goings on that exist in such great number in old San Antone. With tongue in cheek and stories delivered as if he were on stage. Randy makes the history and folklore of San Antonio fun and entertaining. A true gentleman and great orator. Don't miss... More

We have taken this tour thrice now, just because it's a fun way to see the Riverwalk area late at night. Randy's storytelling skills and manner are the icing on the cake. This isn't a gadgets and gizmos, gimmicky "ghost hunting" tour. This is a scary myths and legends tour, and it is FANTASTIC.

This really should be called "Silver FolkTales" or similar. Randy does tell you at the very beginning this is not a ghost hunt/tour. You get a nice walk and he does tell some great folk stories/legends of San Antonio. The very rehearsed speeches he gives in that scottish/irish accent really does make it very difficult to understand him at times..... More

This is just as described on his website so all the other poor reviews are from their own neglectful reading. It's a ghost TOUR. GO HERE! Randy never suggests it's a ghost hunt and he tells you at the beginning, "ghosts appear when they want. It's random and no amount of lasers and equipment will make them appear! " he's... More

If you are looking to go in any haunted bldgs, not the tour for you! Randy is super nice, but I had a hard time understanding what he was saying. He has plenty of energy, don't get me wrong. But, if you are looking for a history tour of San Antonio, I'd point you towards the Sisters Grimm tour. My... More

We purchased the 4- pack of tickets on groupon. On the website it advertises tours nightly. We called to confirm and were told he doesn't do Sunday. We purchased a different tour. If you're looking for a dependable and enjoyable ghost tour go with Bad Wolf Ghost Tours instead. You will not be dissapointed.

We ran across the tour on Groupon & thought it might be fun. Left a message on Randy's voice mail & got a callback within a few hours & was able to schedule reservations for the next evening. We arrived a little early & the guide found us. He was a pleasant young man & made sure everyone knew to... More

Randy isn't looking to cut you any breaks on the cost of the tour, if you're unaware that he is offering a 1/2 off groupon to attract business. BE SURE TO LOOK FOR ONE - it's often available - so cut yourself a break on the cost! Otherwise, it's enjoyable tour - made all the better, if you can get... More
