With a few haunted tours in various cities under my belt, I have to say the experience rides on the ability of your guide to tell a good story. Our guides, one experienced and one obviously on a trial run, were very good at recounting historical facts, but their haunted tales felt like follow-up facts to the history. I really dug the old-time San Antonio monologues, but I found myself wanting to pull out my phone to pass the time on some of the “scary” tales. All that being said, they obviously put a lot of effort into preparing the tour. They wore costumes. They had tablets to show pictures that went along with the stories. And it was pretty good exercise! It’s definitely worth the $20, but you might temper your excitement if you anticipate a good scare.

We did three ghost/history tours over a period of two nights and this one was definitely the best. Mark was an excellent tour guide (except for the occasional silly joke :-) ) and took the time to explain both the history of each location and also the ghost story of each place - he also seemed to really enjoy doing the tour. It helped that he had a portable speaker which made it easy to hear him even a few feet away. This tour covers a lot of places and we would definitely recommend it.

This tour was AMAZING. Our guide (and I cannot for the life of me remember his name, the most I got of him was a side picture, he said he wrote the Sisters Grimm book that my stepmom purchased but I can't tell if he was serious or kidding) was so fun, he explained things amazingly and really interacted with the group, along with our bus driver. I went July11 at 9-11:30pm, the day before my birthday with my sister, dad, and stepmom and we all enjoyed it. The stop to the cemetery was extra creepy to me but that's the whole point of a ghost tour! Seeing the inside of the hotels was beautiful and cool. I feel so awful for not having cash to leave a tip, so if you book PLEASE remember to bring cash! The guide and driver really do deserve it! This was a great experience.

Kelsey was our tour guide and Pete was our bus driver, they were both amazing and funny! This was easily the best tour my husband and I have ever done. My favorite part was walking through the cemetery. I highly recommend this tour because we learned so many ghost stories that we never even knew about. We can’t wait to bring all of our friends next time and go again. Thank you for having us!
