At the base everyone was so nice, friendly and helpful. The graduation is something I will never forget. Thank you for letting the families be part of it. May God Bless every Airman that walks through those gates.

Our visit was for our Grandsons' graduation from Air Force Basic Training and all the demonstrations were outstanding as were the personnel. Lots of old planes to see and explore.

We spent several days on base and enjoyed exploring the planes on display, and shopping. BMT graduation was well executed - the Airman's Run and Coin Ceremony were beautiful!

Be prepared for crazy driving but the people at The AFB are so friendly. Only one gate off Military drive that we could find was open after hours

As a retired Air Force member, I'm not sure how to really describe this place to average tourists. Generally it is open to the public only when basic training students graduate en masse, or there is an air show. It's a fine base -- but...More

The best thing to do is call the base directory. The operator will direct your call. Most bases have areas to "store" these items but I don't think they offer any stations for hooking up electricity or water. If you're a... More

It is POSSIBLE to stay on base. The question is, do you qualify. And my best answer is that you should call Air Force Inns and ask them directly. I have NEVER been turned away, but I have heard others say they have. I think... More
