The theatre is a historical building beautifully preserved. We have been coming to the Majestic individually since we were young and as a couple since we started dating. It’s a gorgeous environment to see a play, ballet or comedy routine. Plus , it’s downtown close...More

This is a magnificent theater with great acoustics. The problem is with theater management. We recently attended a Celtic Thunder concert and they gave it there all. The downside of our experience was with theater management. The show began at 8:00 PM. Patrons, often groups...More

Saw School of Rock and can’t get that out of my head. LOVE LOVE LOVE Majestic Theater. Intimate. Great sound. And yes, MAJESTIC. Lots o great dining options now, beyond the ever-relatable Bohanans. We did Range, the Jason Dady steak and seafood place. Quick apps...More

My wife and I came here to see Wicked. This place is amazing. The interior is amazing. You get lost trying to see everything. We had great seats, but every seat in the theater is a great seat. If you ever get a chance to...More

No more beautiful or historic theatre than the Majestic to enjoy a variety of entertainment options! Our most recent trip to San Antonio to enjoy Tom Jones was a great time! We'll look forward to future events there. Caution: We made last minute reservations and...More

This is one of the oldest theatres in Texas and the beautiful interior is glorious. They serve food before the show and during intermission to your seats, which is really nice. On the other hand, because it is an old theatre it comes with some...More

The architecture and history of this theatre is amazing but it is not well equipped for a Broadway tour play. We attended Wicked and the theater was full. The acoustics for the musical were poor and it was difficult to understand the lyrics. At intermission,...More

Every part of this place is beautiful, it feels bigger than it really is. Every part of this theater is picturesque. The low quality pictures dont really capture the detail out into this place.

Went to go see a Broadway traveling tour of Wicked at the Majestic Theater in San Antonio Texas. The show was spectacular, the artists and dancers and singers were amazing. And the truly greatest part of this whole trip was the theater itself. It is...More

Seats for phantom of the opera/ Majestic Theatre New York (3 Replies)
I have two options- C row in front mezzanine or T row in the orchestra. Haven't been to this theatre and the difference is about 40 dollars per ticket. What would be the ticket I choose?

Before you buy your tickets have you checked to see if sites like Playbill have a discount code you can use. Usually Phantom has discounts.

Masters of Magic at Grand Majestic Theatre (1 Replies)
We spent an interesting hour or so watching a new show - Masters of Magic this week. The illusions were well done. The presenter was just a bit anxious and needs to be a bit more relaxed. His support crew worked well and Pigeon Forge needs some such reasonably priced shows!

Thanks for the tip. Is this going to be an ongoing show in Pigeon Forge or just a special presentation at the Majestic? Have you been to Magic Beyond Belief? If so, how does it compare to that magic show? Again, thanks for the tip. If it is still in town next time we are there, we might consider seeing this show.

Went to this show in july of 2008 just after it opened. It was great. The quality of singing and dancing is great!!! If you enjoy real musical theatre, see this show while in Pigeon Forge

Their show is good. They just got off to a slow start because of their lease and they missed alot of buisness. I hope they have a better year in 2009.
