I really didn’t know what to expect. I heard there was a laser light show ON the front face of the San Fernando Cathedral on Main Plaza in downtown San Antonio. My wife and I took our 10-year olds and saw it for ourselves. The...More

The light show is a little hard to schedule around all the other great things to see in downtown San Antonio, but it's worth the time and effort. I was amazed at the technology it took to perfectly match the video to the church surface....More

5 Georgia girls taking San Antonio by storm! This was the highlight of our trip! We told all fellow travelers we met about it. Seems like it is under publicized. So glad we experienced this show!

My daughter and I took the shuttle river boats to the SF Cathedral. I had seen a little online, but purposefully chose to "be surprised". I was pleasantly impressed! My daughter didn't know anything about it & couldn't believe how beautiful it was. Mother-daughter bonding...More

We went to the early show (9:00) with our kids. Plenty of room to find a viewing spot and plenty of other families there with kids. Cool vibe as everything grows dark around you and then the music begins and the cathedral is enveloped in...More

Checked out the Light Show at the San Fernando Cathedral with friends that came to visit from FL. This was a really cool 20 minute light/music show about the history of San Antonio. My friend’s husband was the one who found this limited time light...More

When several people told my sister and me we shouldn't miss the evening laser light show projected on the facade of San Fernando Cathedral, we were expecting something cute and touristy, like a laser pointer on a wall. Wow! We sat up front and were...More

We caught the laser show on March 10th. They had problems with it the previous evening, so we were glad we could see it on Sunday. They have shows at 9, 9:30 and 10. Goes for about 25 minutes. The music and lasers are just...More

I'm not sure what the schedule is for the light show. Best to check the website or ask when you arrive at your destination. But it's definitely a don't miss free event!!!

Check the San Antonio / The Saga site. As far as I know it runs each week on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 9am, 9:30pm, and 10pm. The light show is at the San Fernando Cathedral and lasts 24 minutes.
