This was our first visit to the top of the hemisphere tower. It is so much more than just a look around the city. The Texas history portrayed on the walls gives visitors more time to enjoy the elevation and city views.

I was amazed of how many light were there. The Hemisfair Park was made at the 250th anniversary of the city of San Antonio. Built in 1968. There were lots of lights. Lots of chairs and all kinds of fun for children. One of the attraction was gondolas. Kids like that! Wow! We saw several children in the park. Children had fun.

This is a remnant of the 1968 World Fair. Lines can be long but the views are spectacular. There are several picture taking opportunities too.

The park itself has many areas for children to play and is very pretty and well taken care of. There isn't a whole lot to do for adults in the park itself, but it is next to other attractions such as the Tower of the Americas and the Institute of Texan Cultures.
