A different type of movie house.

Alamo Drafthouse is near Lackland (about 10 minutes away) and was near our hotel (Homewood Suites on Richland Hills). This location is 1255 SW Loop 410 - it is inside the 1604 loop so it is an ok place to take your airman on town pass. Loved the assigned seats (you pick where you want to sit). The seats are... This is a regular movie house with first run films playing. But, it is also a restaurant with a fairly big selection of foods that you can eat while you watch the movie. Great idea. They have a sort table/shelf to put your food and drinks on. Very casual. I always get the standard popcorn and soda. But much more... More

I've been going here since they opened about 12 years ago and I have to say this by far the vest theater in the city. Seats are assigned so easy to pick out a space in advance before you go, they have bench tables in front of the seats for drinks and food-should you order. Wait staff is always awesome... More

Saw the "SW Force Awakens" movie while sipping a vanilla Guinness milkshake and eating complimentary popcorn. I never imagined that a theater could double as a bar/restaurant, but they pull it off seamlessly. Also, they kick people out for talking or using a phone during the film. I will definitely go there again, whenever I happen to be in San... More

Went to watch Star Wars and were pleasantly surprised with the concept. The food was a little pricey (we had coffee and milkshakes for the kids) but the overall experience was thoroughly enjoyable.

My in laws love to watch a movie and eat here. We went with a group of 15 to watch Star Wars. The seating was clean and comfortable. The food is OK--not amazing but good. I am not a fan of not seeing my food before sticking it in my mouth, but the hummus was good. My daughter enjoyed her... More

While the tickets are a little more expensive for this experience it has it's perks. I enjoyed getting a drink before the movie and there were plenty of tables and couches to enjoy that drink on. We ordered dinner and for the price it was ok. By far the best thing to eat was their popcorn. They put clearified butter... More

This place is great. There's a little narrow table in front of each row of seats (See pictures). Plenty of Leg space. In front of those tables, there's another small walkway to let the waiter walk behind the seats as he takes your order. Ordering is easy. All you do is write in a paper what you want (menu is... Just watched the Martian while feasting on fried pickles and fish and chips. Great movie and great food, what a great experience.
